Sub,
Here is an odd situation that I can reproduce consistently.
1. Boot the machine that GBPVR is installed.
2. GBPVR recording service starts.
3. Scheduled recording records.
4. Check the recording, no audio.
Work around:
1. Stop the recording service.
2. Launch the Lifeview TV Walker TV application.
3. When the video and audio start let it run for a few seconds.
4. Exit out of the Lifeview Walker TV application.
5. Restart the GBPVR recording service.
6. Scheduled recording records.
5. Play the recording, and now there is audio.
I'm using the DIVX recording option, with MP3 audio. Haven't tried this with MPG as the recording format.
This is consistent since at least 0.91 version, and I can repeat it at will. If I don't stop the service, run the TV Walker application, and then restart the service, there is no audio. I only have to do this situation once, until the machine is restarted (which for me is maybe once or twice a month).
It's more of an annoyance, but is huge on the WAF list, especially when some of the programs she watches doesn't have audio.
