I've seen just 3 postings describing this.
Get a error message saying can't handle exception - if you go to debug says:
cordbg.exe !a 0x52c. Similar to what was reported earlier:
>Application has generated an exception that could not be handled
>Process id=0x74c (1868), Thread id=0x750 (1872).

>I get this after I just upgraded to the latest GB-PVR. I guess I should have >left well enough alone. Now what do I do?

>cordbg.exe !a 0x74c
Background:
Been happily using gbpvr for about 6 months - no problems. Cable company switched around all the channels and could not get gbpvr and zap2it to recover. Decide to upgrade all the software while I was re-installing everything.
Have Win2000 5.00.2195 SP4
Have a HP PVR150 running driver update version 2.2.22292
Loaded MDAC2.6 - version 26.0.6526.3
Loaded .Net1.1 (dotnetfx) version 1.1.4322.573
Loaded GBPVR 0.9413
Symptoms:>
gbpvr and zap2it work now. Recording quality, channel selection, timing is all fine.
Set up recording schedule and will start recording. I believe it generates an error when goes to stop recording to disk. Keeps recording until I deal with error message - recorded 24G at one time once. After that it will miss scheduled recording and gbpvr will say there was an error when you look for the recording in the windows interface.
Background recording service is still there and can restart from tray or after opening config program without error.
I've already blown everything away and reinstall everything except for HP PVR1500 drivers.
Where do we go from here?
