Are you manually entering the numbers in the config program?
Are you entering them under global?
If you only have 1 MVP I suggest you make the changes to global.

Big Grin Tipstir you are King of The Hill, you type and we obey, right on the spot like always it look 99% better. Final adjustment, still 1 inch off to the right. I am using XMedia on mi MVP. What do you recommend? I now I am so crazy I will get this all wrong. I think I need to take online course in TV repair to see if I get this right. I can be the next Napoleon Dynamite. If what Tipstir told you to do worked then it is something wrong with how you are using MVP Screen position.
Just for your information every TV will have a little different setting. This is one of the reasons I wrote this plugin to try and make fine tunning easyer.

If you want to attempt to try the plugin again try this.
If not read next message.

Turn off your MVP
Run the GBPVR config program
Click on the Plugins tab
Click on MVP Position
Click on Settings
A new window should pop up "MVP Screen Postion Editor"
Clcik on Glabal
You should see the setting Tipstir told you to use.
I would change then to
680
460
20
20
Then click Ok
Click OK again

Turn on your MVP
Select the MVP Screen postion pugin
The image should now be bigger than the screen.
Now move the top right corner to fit your TV (Chanel & Vol bottons)
Then resize the box to fit the bottom left (2,4,6,8 buttons)

Right these numbers down. It does not save these automaticly.
Turn off MVP again

Run the GBPVR config program
goto MVP Position
Click on settings
Enter these in the Global setting.
Click OK
Click OK again.

Turn on MVP again

Should work. If not try the next message.

If you want to give up with the plugin try this.
Use notepad like tipstir said.
Try playing with the numbers until you get what you like.
OffsetX is the left edge of the screen
OffsetY is the top edge of the screen
Width & Height are just that.

Per Sub's suggestions I would
Make all number divisible by 4
Height + Y Offset less than 480 for NTSC
Width + X Offset less than 720

If you want to move just the right end smaller make Width a smaller number.
If you want to make it bigger then make it a larger number.
If you want to move the complete picture left change OffsetX a Smaller number.
If you want to move it right make it a larger number.

I hope one off these emails help

To add one time-saving tip to Ron22's previous post, leave Notepad open and just click File->Save. Now power off the MVP (with the remote, no need to unplug) for a few seconds then back on again. Since Notepad remains open, you can make more changes, File->Save, power off/on, over & over very quickly until you get it right.

Once you get it right, save a backup copy of those settings because they will get overwritten the next time you upgrade GBPVR. Email them to yourself or something, because the only thing worse than the trial & error of getting screen position right is having to do it all over again for no good reason. Ok, so it's not *that* bad, but it's still frustrating (speaking from experience, times 3 MVPs).
