I am having a problem when I am watching live TV and pause it, if I later try to fast forward to skip commercials and try to get caught up it won't let me play it after its been advanced. When I hit the pause button it doesn't start playing instead it maked the fast forward faster. In order to get it to play I have to exit out and restart live TV from the menu. Any idea on how to fix this?

Fast forward don't work well with most decoders. Install another decoder that works, or use skip instead of fast forward.
I'm not always right

If you're saying after pause it plays like you have FF on, I get that, too. It's the Intervideo decoder that causes it for me. I think I found the way out last night. I hit play, it started to FF, I hit pause, and I hit play again. It jumped back to the pause point and played normally.

Actually where I am having a problem is if I pause a live show to go do something, when I comeback and it play it plays fine. But when it comes to some commericals and I want to fast forward past them it fast forwards fine but once I hit the area where the show starts again, I can't get it to play. It will only fast forward. If this is a decoder problem, which decoder works best? I have the Nvidia Decoder, cyberlink, nero and mainconcepts. Is there any one which is better to use?

Ah...I use skip instead of FF (but I incorrectly identify skip fwd as FF).

I never had much luck w/ FF, so I used two different skip increments instead (15 and 30 sec I think). Not as precise, but more reliable on the whole.
