In order to get the series recording dialog to open with the Kodi addon you need to use the default skin. I use Mimic so I skinned the confluence dialog to work with it:
Hello, I've just updated to 3.4.8 and now I'm unable to watch live tv from client PC's. Everything works on the main machine. I use an HDHR by the way. Any ideas would be appreciated.
I just installed the 3.4.8 update and enabled it, hoping to see both the background and the metadata show details appear.
Now, SOME of the shows WITH metadata alone, but without fanart work OK and SHOW the metadata. Some don't, see Life of Pi.
Oddly, though it seems that if I can see the fanart, the metadata does not show, and I know it exists as the XML file with all the metadata in it, in C:\Users\Public\NPVR\Media\Shows [See Midnight in Paris]
and some just work as I expected, see Siebenstein.
Was this feature updated i.e. should it work as I think, or is there a bug in my system which is causing it not to work properly?
Cheers
k.
due to the I'll add a second post with another example and the list of shows in a txt file.
I looked around, but, I haven't noticed any file checksums posted for the releases.
File: NPVRSetup_3_4_8.exe
MD5: 7bfbb24b584efb78b44ca2418bddf509
SHA-1: e1837f7f94b89e807d7427a41232b9a42b7e4cc5
Just to make sure it is unaltered from source.
Bonus points for having it for individual files like:
File: NRecord.exe for 3.4.8 I calculate
MD5: e212bd7a0cf2e8b30c77392b4a527a1b
SHA-1: 0b7ea2c9574720c76d5cba0e67ffb837d7b1318a
(While normally, this is useless information, I find it easier to see if the installer replaced all the files correctly.)
For some reason, it seems like the update broke the hauppauge IR remote control support... the "play" & "pause" buttons work, but directional controls, "ok", "exit/back", number keys no longer register in the app (makes using the "guide" somewhat frustrating....
I also tried with an HP WMC remote I had laying around with the same conclusion (play, pause, skip keys work, directional-OK-Guide-Back keys don't).
