Tried these fixes: Downloading various he-aac dlls and trying to register them with regsvr32. Installing various he-aac codecs but not showing up in npvr, even after reboot.
I tried to search this forum for he-aac, in various formations but I always got a No matches.
So where do I get such a codec from? I have search the web for days on end and getting nowhere.
Any help is appreciated.
I have 2 Hauppauge 2250 for 4 tuners. When I record a show and watch live TV, the channel skips 2 ahead. It does it with the remote and using the page up key on the keyboard. Stop the recordings and the channels all work normally. So when a tuner is in use recording, the TV channel advances twice. Attached are the files with reader.txt..
I'm trying to setup my QNAP NAS with NPVR and I'm having issues.
If the "Recordings" folder or "Buffer Directory" is set to the local drive (SSD) the same as the software install - I can record OK. As soon as I point it to my share that I've created on the local machine that points to the NAS it appears to not be able to write to the NAS, any ideas on how to fix?
In another test when playing "Live TV" if the folders are set to c:\temp I get a black screen however the "Buffer" file is being created..
I've just done a fresh install of Windows 8.1, installed the drivers for my Hauppauge 1229 WinTV-HVR-2255 via the provided DVD, installed NextPVR, installed the latest DirectX Runtime from Microsoft's website, and went to scan for channels in NextPVR for my tuner card. However, I am unable to find any channels when I perform a scan on any of the five devices listed.
I've provided my log files. Anyone know the problem? 8.1 shouldn't be the problem as even 7 wasn't detecting channels properly.
Is there anyway to control the number of hours displayed in the Tv Guide grid. Would like 4 hours instead of 6 hours currently displayed. I changed something, but do not know where. Otherwise Schedules Direct is working great.
Was recording on DVB-S, and channel hoping on DVB-T, and was told the DVB-T tuner was needed for the DVB-S recording. Could return the DVB-T programme, but after 10 ~ 20 seconds I get kicked off again, saying the tuner is required for the other recording (several minutes after the post-record padding should have ended).
Is there a way to increase the number of channels shown in the TV Guide initial view? Currently, it's only showing 8 channels at a time and I have to scroll down to see other channels. I only have 12 channels (OTA broadcast) so it would be nice to see the other channels at the same time. I'm using NextPVR 3.4.8 on Windows 8.1.
If NextPVR cannot do this, can the TV Listings plugin or another plugin do this?

The UK satellite cluster has just been a pain recently - with a dying satellite and some channels moving to temporary transponders and back to a new satellite.
This site http://satellites-xml.eu/ can generate up to date .ini files for satellites or clusters but it's format of the "extras" seems to be in a format disliked by npvr.
I was wondering (hoping) that as the site above can create up to date ini files for everywhere that it could be handy to be able to use these files as they are???.
p.s. could you also refresh my memory about the channels shown when scanning and the difference between normal and greyed text.
