I have both a STB with a Colossus2 and HVR-2250 that is connected to external antenna.
I am recording the same show at the same time using both devices.
The TS files from the antenna are about twice the size.
The recordings from the STB have the commerical skip jumping past at the correct spot using the client.
The external antenna recordings jump about 10 secs early and resume about 10 secs early.
I checked the comskip txt files using the comskipgui and it marked both of them in the correct spot.
I do see the frame rate in the TXT file for the STB is 5994 and 2997 for the antenna but don't see why that would matter.
I would prefer to record using the external antenna since it has two tuners and frees up the STB for other channels that are not local.
Let me know what files I should provide.
So, yeah, you read that right. I'll be brief because I'm really not doing well after this happened. I downloaded PVR today, discovered it, and was learning to configure it, created my login, and couldn't access the localhost web even though everything was active. After 30 minutes of adjusting the program on the laptop with the native PC version and still failing to log in with "admin"/"admin," I decided to uninstall to reset my settings. When I went to the uninstall section, it asked if I wanted to "uninstall the program only and leave the settings" or "uninstall everything." I clicked on uninstall everything, and that's when the PVR program incinerated ALL my 248GB of files on my SSD.
I'm devastated right now. I didn't lose useless files that you can just open Chrome and download again. No, I lost saved passwords + encrypted passwords/recovery passwords for other programs, I lost old photos, I lost videos in various formats - and probably if I try to recover them, many will be corrupted. I lost EVERYTHING, including memories and files that I never wanted to lose. If I could choose, I'd delete everything to save those specific files, which were basically half of the SSD. This new SSD served as a "backup" for my files. My computer is weak and old (my dad worked so hard to buy it, and it's the simplest computer with the lowest specs you can imagine), the computer's storage only has 30GB in total, and the SSD was saving me.
I know it seems stupid to use an SSD to store things and not lose them, but unfortunately, I don't have a computer with 1TB of storage, I don't have x1 or x3 1TB HDs for different parts and moments of my use, not even USB drives that can store so many files. That's it. I'm feeling really bad, I wrote too much, I'm shaking and my hands are cold. I don't know how this happened. I have no idea. My computer doesn't have a virus, there are no malicious programs installed, it was just when I tried to uninstall the program that this happened. It makes me really sad. I still don't know what to do, I don't know how to recover all these files without them getting corrupted, or how to proceed if there's not enough space to recover the really important files. Probably if I try to recover everything that was deleted on the SSD, there will be more than 600GB deleted, and I'm lost and worried that the SSD will fill up during the recovery and I will lose more data. I do not have another drive or external storage available at the moment.

I have installed another HDD for recording TV and I wasn't able to find anywhere how exactly does NextPVR use the extra drive. Does it just fill the first one and then starts filling up the second one or is there something I need to select or enable to use the second drive?
I did add it in web GUI and what also surprised me was a different look on the drive. On my screenshot the E: drive was the first one I've been using for a few months and the F: drive is the new one.
Can someone please explain how does NextPVR behave?

It would be great to have some sort of progress feedback when performing an 'Update Channels' on a device. Without looking at the logs, it is not possible to know that the button was actually clicked.
Additional thought, disable the Save button once clicked.
Since yesterday, I cannot get NextPVR to record anything and am at a loss why. I am using Version 6.1.5.231022 64-bit currently on Windows 10, although I also have an old 32-bit version still installed and running (not sure if that can cause problems). Tray icon is green and Show Status is showing 2 devices (IPTV). But status in Web app / Settings page says No devices are currently active.an I tell what it's currently doing?'''
TV Guide is not showing any channel and Manual Recordings configured via the Desktop app are not recording.

I added a newly created satellite mux table ini file to the Tuning\DVB-S folder but it does not appear in the drop down box under satellite on the web ui. Is there something else that needs to be completed before I see this new table.
Also can I simply delete all those unwanted satellite table ini files for satellites I’ll clearly never use.

I use Leia (win11) for programming recod with addon IPTV Recorder from primaveal. But I want to try to use NextPVR (because IPTV recorder doesnt support newest versions of Kodi). Ok, I tried to install (from zip) ver. 3.3. 19 and up to 3.3.21. Ok its installed but doesn't want to start. On startup it says unregistered error. What I do wrong? Might be Leia cant support nextpvr? I cant delete Kodi Leia for investigation because its works now and during night too. Later I'll try to install Omega portable and try again with newest ver of nextpvr. Any advices? I need it for work. Thanks in advance.
I changed it to 15 seconds before can't seem to find/remember where I was when I change it for the EPG updates? I really just wanted to change it back to the default which is 60 seconds per freq, right? I am on version Version: 6.1.5.231022.
This is happening on 2 different Android boxes, one ARMv7, the other AArch64. It's unclear whether the problem is with the NextPVR client, Kodi 21.0, or possibly even a sync issue with the NextPVR server.
Since Kodi Nexus, the All Channels group has changed from listing Hidden TV channels (n) and Visible TV channels (n) in the rightmost two columns to Ungrouped channels (n) and Channels in All Channels (n) respectively. These 2 columns for All Channels are still editable by short press selecting a channel to move it from one to the other, however, in other groups defined on the NextPVR server, selecting a channel by short press has no effect on either list. Furthermore, the Ungrouped channels (n) table is empty for each group, when it should include all active channels not in that group. Creating a new custom group in the group manager allows active channels to be moved between the ungrouped and grouped columns, however inactive channels are still shown under "Ungrouped", and selecting one of these channels causes it to disappear entirely.
Because the NextPVR server resets channel data each time the channel list on a device is updated, and IPTV channel data can change frequently, it is preferable to manage channels and groups within Kodi. Unfortunately, the issue described renders this process more difficult than it was previously.
