While recording the system reboots and I get this message on NPVR. It happens only when recording and seems to happen every 3rd recording whether or not there is time between them. Any suggestions? Logs attached. Thank you.
My Beta tester seems to be able enable the video inset even though I don't have "HOME" mapped to my remote so I can't stop the video once it's inset. Is there a way to disable the inset?
Also, if there is a video inset then maybe allow the stop or pause to work on the video. I know that pressing "HOME" again goes back to fullscreen, but that's another button.
With the upcoming change in NextPVR to have more support for Season and Episode values iGL now modifies the NextPVR recordings table to include the proper values. If you don't like this behaviour add the command line option --noevents
Here's the first alpha release of X-NEWA prior to putting it out for auto distribution.
2.4.4~alpha
- save primary and secondary sort
- didn't show advanced recurring rules
- start displaying Season/Episode
- parse filename for Season/Episode
- a couple of utf-8 changes
- pending recordings still used SOAP calls
- web client exits when server not available
- changes for upcoming NEWA
- other fixes
Sometimes I export all my recurring recordings schedule into the xml file, and after that I try to delete all entries in NextPVR so that I can import the xml file again. This is to start afresh.
But I encountered a problem with the keyboard shortcut. Look at the attached screenshot.
When I pressed the "delete" key, it doesn't delete the schedule. So I got to manually traverse to "cancel" and press Enter on it.
Is there a way to use the "delete" key so that it helps me delete all the entries faster? Thanks in advance.
Issue:
EPG and TV Listings are not showing Season and Episode data due to EPG Event table not being populated during an xmtv import.
By Manually altering the season and episode columns in the EPG_Event table within the npvr.db3 database I can confirm that Season and Episode data are shown within the EPG/TV Listings (as shown by attached snapshots).
I altered season and episode to be 7 (everything else shows 0) for X Factor Australia. You can notice (snapshot in attached zip file) that it now shows (Season 7, Episode 7).
All the main TV Stations in NZ (on freeview HD at least) supply season / episode data for their main popular programs. Iâm not angling at using the season/episode data for prevention of duplicate recordings or anything (as some other posts mention) â Iâm just aware when the season and episode fields are populated in the database, then they are displayed in the EPG. I would very much like this to happen, since its just a matter of getting the season and episode fields to be populated during import process.
Data output from the EPG Collector has the following present in the xmltv file...
<episode-num system="xmltv_ns">1 . 4 . 0/1</episode-num>
This however fails to be imported during the nightly EPG import of the xmltv files and does not populate the season and episode fields in the database. This may be by nPVR design?? or maybe something is tripping up the EPG Import process ?
Is this a matter of the output from the EPG collector being in the wrong format - in which case they may need to fix this (i have the valid season/episode option chosen) ... or does nPVR simply not import it?
I hope this is not a major one to rectify.
Thanks in Advance.
I'm not using the web interface any more just the standard(?) xnewa. All fine until I tried to schedule a recording. Hitting the save button, or just trying a quick record results in a pop up "an error occurred".
Trying to record a future doctor who just before 9.30. This is the most relevant thing I can see in the xbmc logs
1942 21:28:04 3048322816 ERROR ClearBlock: Trying to clear non existent block /storage/.xbmc/addons/script.xbmc.x-newa
PS the client in question is 192.168.8.6 I'm not entirely sure why there's calls from 192.168.8.4 in the npvr web logs.
