Before I started using NPVR I used Win Explorer and played the files with VLC. I like NPVR much better but one thing I've noticed is the video listings don't automatically update when a new video is added to the file as it did when using Explorer. I'm using the client version for my HTPC and the only way I can see a new update is to play a video for a second or two. Then the update occurs and I can see any new files. Or, I can restart NPVR. I've looked for a refresh keyboard key but haven't found one. I also checked the Win keyboard shortcuts, and while F5 will update a browser window, it does nothing in NPVR (well, it does but it isn't a refresh function). Anyone know of a way to refresh the video file listing with a keyboard shortcut?
Hi, I presumed I'd be able to play my recorded TV shows without any hassle, streaming over the network. Does anyone know a player for android that will play the TS files that NPVR creates? .. or how do you do it?
Device : Samsung BD-F6500 - 2013 model (updated to the latest Software, to enter to to development mode I only used develop and no password) Country : Australia NextPVR Version: 2.6.2 Format: DVB-T with OTA EPG
Notes:
Everything seems to be working now, sometimes I get a black screen when I stop a file that is playing (Live TV, not tried from Recordings) which stays black/blank for unusually long...however it doesn't crash and does come good.
Thanks for the updates last night, the OSD now disappears after 5 seconds'ish and also the TV Channel Logo's seem much better sized?
change log is now associated to each build so I can just set the change log when I upload a build and its automatic. Will also show the change log inside the nextpvr for samsung app under settings menu (need to do this, but thats my plan)
the known issues etc are now tracked in the "Bug Tracker" on the portal (Help -> Issue Tracker)

Hi guys, new here and have spent several hours today trying to get this software going to face once issue after the next. I figured I was almost there but cannot connect at all with XBMC. I also cannot get anything to record successfully. I was however able to add channels, etc without a hitch. I am also able to view the channels with the HDHOMERUN utility. I have an HDHOMERUN for this setup. I have attached my logs and greatly need your help before I go even crazier! I have tried to attach every possible log. I have eliminated any firewall issues.

Per your instructions in the announcement thread, I'm creating a thread for my device. Nothing new to report beyond what we've already discussed by PM, but I do have a photo for you now:
Application installs fine, but does not function when launched. A screen appears with a grey "letterbox" and the date/time in the upper right corner:

At this point I've tried all buttons on the remote - any that should exit the app do so, the rest do nothing. I did delete the app and "re-sync" it, with no change (and this was after your update last night).
