I've recently consolidated my set top boxes to a single PC that is acting as an NPVR server to a few other PCs acting as clients throughout the house. None of these have native LiveTV or Recording, they are all fed from the above mentioned server.
TVListings works well in this situation, I'm just not sure if it shares it's data like NPVR's TV Guide and Recordings.
Specifically, can it's database & media be shared and accessed by multiple clients? The main advantage would be to share links as made by Amazon or TheTVdb so that they wouldn't have to be reproduced on each client.
As of a few weeks ago my recordings fail with the TS mux but still work with dvr-ms and the same goes for live tv. All of the cases are for ATSC recordings. I don't understand what could interfere with the TS mux. I tried a reinstall of GBPVR but that didn't work. Any help will be appreciated.
Last night my missus was complaining that the nPvr pc was slow & laggy.
When I checked & had a look around I saw that 7 recordings had been made of the same prog & postprocessing was slowing things down a bit
The offending reccordings are

I have 2 Nova-T cards & A Nova S2 card, all were in use.
I've had this a couple of times before but hadn't taken much notice.
I have a list of items, the skin element representing each item has an Image tag as part of it. If I wanted to update the image, what's the best way to do it? I could of course just repopulate the list but that seems a little inefficient.
Sub, I played around with the TV Guide screen which wasted space on an HD monitor and I came with this which I like, since having the inset video is much more like all the commercial DVR products I have seen.
Is there any chance that you are going to support inset video on the NMT?
when changing channels in live tv the process is VERY slow about two minutes i will have to go to main menu and then click live tv agian as a work around then the channel comes up immediately
if i get this fixed then npvr is a next to flawless setup for me since everything else in the software seems to be working perfectly now
My Win7 64-bit installed drivers for both of my Hauppauge tuners. One is a PCIe HVR-1250 (Device Manager labels it HVR-1250 Model 79xxx), and the other is a PCI PVR 250 (Device Manager labels is PVR PCI II 26xxx). NPVR shows 2 items in the Devices branch: ATSC Hauppauge WinTV 885 and QAM Hauppauge WinTV 885. I disabled the QAM because I only have OTA, and stations do get scanned by the ATSC WinTV 885 entry.
Tried all decoders in NPVR. Get smooth video but glitchy in live TV mode - plays back recordings ok.
nPVR defaults on installation to Live TV Buffer = c:/temp.
Changed buffer to another drive (separate from os) Problem solved.
when i load devices i have astc and qam listed as a device... I believe maybe i need nstc i have the mce version of the 1600 with three outlets. maybe a seperate driver for cable analog or something there not sure
