Shows scheduled from NPVR interface which appear on an odd time boundary (not hour or half-hour) are not shown as 'orange' - i.e. pending in Guide2. They do appear in the Manage Recording list & within NPVR.

Martin,
I know you are still working on supporting A-200 I am wondering if I should get an A-110 (refurbished) or A-200. I would like A-200, but would not want it without NPVR support. I am afraid to wait for a time when no A-110 are available and no A-200 NPVR support. What do you recommend?
I currently use GBPVR 1.4.7 on Server 2003 just for recording and I program it over the web. It works fine and all I wish for is automatic show deletion from the guide after say 7 days. Manual bulk deletion doesn't work so I have to delete each program individually rather than ticking the lot and clicking delete.
I realise that NPVR will surpass GBPVR but is it worth upgrading to NPVR for this simple usage?
Ok, so now I started to configure the Multidec setup.
1. Installed the Phoenix card reader in COM1.
2. Downloaded and placed FFDecsa.dll in Program Files\NPVR directory
3. Downloaded and placed ACamd () files in "#C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\NPVR\MDPlugins\Hauppauge WinTV 885 Alt BDA Tuner_Demod #1-1"
4. Set the device to use Multidec in NPVR settings
Watching a channel in NPVR starts tray icons for both NPVR Multidec (dialog box is completly empty) and ACamd Monitor (log is attached) but no picture appear. I also get an error in the Nrecord log but I am not sure its related to this.
I have not done any other settings as I am not sure what to do. I have searched but not found any guides on how to set this up. At least no guide that I was able to follow.
hi!
i noticed that, when manually starting record during live tv, npvr does not keep the buffer, like gbpvr used to, and instead starts to record only from that moment on - so you can't save something after you've seen it on live tv - is that going to be implemented?
also, on my one tuner system, hitting record exits from live tv to the main menu, and trying to go back to tv results in "no tuner available", instead of asking if i'd want to view the current recording - that would be nice, too!
Is it possible for nPVR to have the following two additions:
1. external task so that I can start another player from the main menu - I like to start VLC for DVD playing because it can skip all the trailers
2. external player when in the video library primarily - I would like to have the choice of playing natively or through an external player like VLC - sometimes I just don't want to have to deal with codecs
I'm still using the old GBPVR andI keep looking at the improvements in nPVR and would like to upgrade but until I can get the above two I can't do with out MyVideos
The work on the metadata.xml files are very promising and adds a lot of eye candy tot he software!
On the bright side, less work for me until then...and GBPVR has been going strong for over two years with almost no problems!! I have to admit though, I'm feeling itchy!!
Windows 7 platform
GB-PVR v1.4.7
Tuner: Hauppauge WinTV HVR850 USB HDTV Adapter
Have installed this adapter on my system, connect to a satellite receiver feed. It works fine to watch TV using Win TV, however I cannot get GB PVR configured to work with it.
From the main PVRX2 menu, whenever I select Manual Record or Live TV, control just bounces right back to the main menu.
