I installed the latest version of NextPVR on Windows 11 64bit , the hardware is an older PC ,MB ASUS Prime B250M-K , CPU Pentium G4560, 16GB DDR4. DVB-T2 USB AverMedia T310.
As Encoder I tried CPU and Intel.
Everything works, but the audio is delayed by more than a second compared to the video.
Unfortunately, I couldn't find anywhere where I could set anything in NextPVR regarding codecs or their synchronization.
Can anyone advise where to set this up?
I've looked through the forums and wiki a fair bit but couldn't find an answer. Has the option to write a plugin gone now? My setup is a Linux backend plus an Android TV box downstairs connected to TV. My wife was using the Search facility through the Android TV box looking for "Mock the Week" and she said it was a bit laborious and asked if there was an alternative or if I could write one.
I'm trying to ascertain why The Last Leg failed to record last night, I have an empty .ts file.
Running version Version: 7.0.3.250920 on Windows.
I download the logs I see lots of files, but no recording history from yesterday the 30th, everything is from today the 31st.
I recently installed nextpvr on my Windows 11 laptop. I also installed Wintv v10 for my
Hauppauge TV tuner (connected to a digital antenna). Nextpvr correctly detected the tuner and I was able to scan for channels. I am also a subscriber of schedules direct and entered that information in the settings. It appeared to work and I saw a schedule of programs listed in the TV Guide tab. However, when I tried to watch a program, it didn't work - just got a message to wait. Also tried to record a program. It appeared to accept the order, but didn't work. When I checked later, there was a message that the recording failed.
I would appreciate any ideas on what I should check. Thanks in advance.
I finally had to abandoned SnapStream's Beyond TV after building new HTPC with Windows 11. And truthfully, after testing Nextpvr I am glad of it. Really like the ease of setup and great features. I need some help trying to delete .ts file from the video section. I have several over-the-air .ts files recorded from Beyond TV that is in the Nextpvr video folder. Nextpvr displays them all in a list and I can click to watch I just can not delete them. Popup message says access is denied. I am sure there is some setting I am overlooking. Any help or suggestions from members would be much appreciated.
Nice program but is there any way to reduce the time the info bar is displayed over a channel, every time you touch your mouse?
6 seconds is way too long and annoying, and surely if you are adjusting something you'll be moving the cursor anyway.
I'd like to see more image formats supported. I use the random photo for the screensaver and it's really awesome as I have tens of thousands of photos and honestly it's the most true random thing I've got and it brings up things I've forgotten about.
I've long noticed that it doesn't bring up newer memories, that's because I shoot in raw. Now I don't expect raw support but it would be wonderful, even windows now supports it - though I do not know if programs have access to that through windows.
I'd love to see webp, png, even .jpeg. Not a typo nor ignorance. JPEGs are supported but only if using the .jpg extension. I pointed NexPVR at my immich cache, since it is going to scan and make cached copies of my files but it uses .jpeg extensions and WebP files.
I was having frequent "Have received 0 byte from rtp source" error messages on my NextPVR Docker container (Linux arm32v7). I use a SiliconDust HDHomeRun tuner.
I decided to install NextPVR on my Linux x64 desktop computer. I still have this error message, recordings are either aborted or don't start altogether. EPG updates are disabled. I'm able to tune in and record from this DVB-T tuner seamlessly using DVBViewer, on a Windows 11 computer (never had any recording aborted).
Do you know how we could troubleshoot this problem?
Has been happening erratically for the past few weeks.
Most programs are recorded without interruption but - and this might be a "Red Herring" - the glitch seems occur most often between 17:00 and 18:00 weekdays.
Please could I have some thoughts
