To those who would like to beta test, here is your chance!
Please uninstall Weather2 V1.0.0.0 if you have it installed. Then delete the Plugins\weather2 folder. I changed the config.xml file to use a different variable type, so old config.xml files from V1.0.0.0 will not work with V1.0.1.2.
Changes in Weather2 V1.0.1.2:
- Bug fix for invalid maxforecastdays and updaterate values.
- Bug fix for when PVRX2.exe is running and config is executed. It now doesn't have an empty profile on initial run.
Changes in Weather2 V1.0.1.1:
- New installer, stops/restarts recording service, keeps newer dll files.
- Renamed "Local" maps to "State" maps.
- "None" option for satellite maps.
- Fix to not even attempt to retrieve a map if it's not available for your area.
- Refresh on Startup option.
- Profile name can be used for Location display.
- Include "weather2.XmlSerializers.dll" file.
- Minor Bug fixes
If you have an MVP, testing with that would be great. Also, I added the "Refresh on Startup" option, which required me to re-do the threading a little bit. I did some tests myself and it seemed to work as I planned, but anything you could try with it would be great!
Please post any issues with it in this thread.
Thanks!
As I reported in another thread, I have a problem with the skin plugin dumping back to the main menu when I am selecting graphics and select a folder. See the reply from javawiz here.
I have reinstalled CS4 SD and it is still happening. I can select a graphic OK, but if I select a folder item it dumps back to main menu. It seems to be not finding graphics or .xml files is the problem. I seem to recall that the info.xml files were required in each resource folder, but I don't see them there any more, and my fiddling with some didn't resolve it.
I have a WinTV 980 usb tv tuner that is not shown in the listings. I selected the the "Only show devices on my computer" and was shown the HVR 950. It appears to work and all the local channels were mapped out.
My issue is that I am getting no listing data. I have emptied and reloaded several times to no avail. I have attached the log. Please let me know if you can help. In addition when I try to use XML or ScheduleDirect I get an error that states that the EPG does not appear to be configured correctly. Any help would be appreciated.
I do not know what I am dong wrong. I can use Web Admin from the intranet in my home (24.158.203.48) but not from the internet at my work (147.154.235.51). When I try from work, I get the login screen but nothing happens after I login. The only thing I see that is odd in the log file is "Postback not found....now pulling User Host Info...", but I do not know what that indicates. I have configured the router virtual server for TCP/UPD port 7647 (private/public). Are other ports involved? What could be wrong with my configuration?
I've upgraded to 1.4.7 and I'm finding that if I turn on Live Preview, then I get about 1 second of picture, then a blank screen.
If I turn Live Preview off, then everything is fine...recordings, livetv, etc. Except when I am watching one channel and another recording, that is scheduled, starts, then the picture is interupted by a blank screen for about 0.5 to 1 second. It usually happens when its close to a cliffhanger end of a tv episode  After the 1 second blank screen the picture is back, but sometimes the audio is out of whack slightly.
I figured if I turn on Live Preview in config, then this problem may go away..except it's the opposite. maximum of 1 second of picture, then blank screen as soon as I watch LiveTV I've changed codecs, etc but it made no difference. I restored my previous version of gvpvr and the issue did not happen.
I'm running Win7 32bit with 2 dual tuner NovaT tuners.
I've looked through the logs (attached), but cant see anything. Can anyone offer any ideas?
cheers

Hi,
I have a Terratec Cinergy 1200 DVBS and after the channel scan with ASTRA there are missing all stations with Freq 12246 POL V FEC 3/4 for example DMAX in Germany.
Does someone know the reason?
I'd a look in the 0192.ini, but it seems to be ok.
I'd tried to add it to the SCAN-1.cache manually but there is no picture.
as i was playing with the current version of gb-pvr, i was not amused, how difficult it is to create a station list. :o I find out, that the scanned stations are stored in the file SCAN-1.cache which ist text oriented. So I write a tool, which presents the possibillity to sort, filter, remove, rename, add stations in this file and save it.
So you can reduce the list of stations before you create your favorites.
This tool is less than beta, but by me it's working fine. It's not a plugin!
Copy the file in the BDA folder of your installation and run it. Be sure, that your gb-pvr is not running!
I'm using DVBS, so I'd never seen a file from other HW. Does it also work?
In this thread you guys explained how one tuner could record several channels which were on the same MUX.
Using my Hauppage TD-500 twin tuner I wanted to record four stations continuously (set up as Manual Records) as well as recording several series on the same four channels.
I discovered that to prevent conflicts, the manual 24hr blocks had to be set up first, so the channels were 'assigned' to each tuner correctly. The subsequent programmes would then 'know' which tuner to use (the one already being used to record that channel).
With me so far?
However, I've found that as time moves on, and we get past the initial 14 day period, conflicts start to appear as the new recording slots are applied without the due care used initially.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to either:
Force the 24hr recording 'blocks' to be set up first? then everything else should fall into place...
Force a recording slot (manual or otherwise) onto a specific tuner?
