DVD films collection transcoded in Xvid with AC3 sound don't have sound when played from the video library. The ones I transcoded with mp3 sound work.
What do I need to have sound? I don't want to have to re-transcode them. I have AC3 codecs installed and recordings from the HD PVR with Spifs (AC3) play fine.
I would like to force a login to access EWA. Not only the config, but the guide as well. I don't want my kids to be able to get to the page and mess everything up. How can it be done?
My wife's complaining about "wake up".
I've to say she's right, I've noticed that since I installed the release 1.3.11 the pc won't start up but it happens randomly.
Does anybody have the same problem ?
I have tried several times to install GBPVR now and allways get the same results so presumably I am doing something wrong...
I have a Hauppauge WinTV Nova-TD dual USB stick configured for dual tuners.
When I try to tune each tuner only finds half the channels, the other tuner finds the other half.
If I try to run PVRX2 I get a window appear with nothing in it., the background shows through.
It appears that each Hauppauge 2250 card requires using GBPVR 4 tuner slots, 2 for SD and 2 for HD, even though technically there's only 2 tuners usable in the card at the same time.
I believe GBPVR is limited to 8 tuners total.
This has the effect of limiting you to two Hauppauge 2250s usable in any ones system and thus limiting one to 4 recordings at any one time. (Assuming no multi-recording of HD)
I would like to see this fixed/changed to either make each combination SD/HD tuner use only 1 slot or allow more slots.
And yes, I actually do have times when I want to record more than 4 shows at a time.
I'm having some trouble adding a third card to my setup. I have been running fine when I only had two cards, a PVR-150 and A PVR-150MCE. I just added a second PVR-150MCE for a total of three tuners. My problem is that it doesn't seem to recognize the third tuner. In the guide when I try to schedule three shows at once I get a conflict. I do have them added as tuner #1-3. I'm wondering if it's because 2 of my cards are the same model that it recognizes it as only one tuner. When I check off "only show devices detected in this machine" and then the drop down, it only shows "Hauppauge PVR150" and "Hauppauge PVR150MCE", which is correct but doesn't indicate if it detects two PVR150MCEs.
I think I could have avoided this problem if I had picked up a completely different card, but I really like my 150s. Any ideas on what I can do? TIA!
Just started using my MediaMVP and started using GB-PVR. I've played around with it the better part of today, and really liked it at first. I tried to install and us Zprocess, but that didn't really work out to well for me. Never really saw any improvement in the quaility on the screen. But I'm sure it was something that I was doing.
I've deleted the Zprocess software, and now I can't get GB-PVR to work. I can get the interface to show on the screen. MVP sees the files, but when I begin to play them, the software just starts all over again, with the MVP restart.
So I"ve had a WIN-TV-PVR 250 for the last 3+ years. I finally bought a 150 MCE card to go along with it. Everything seems to be done correctly and I listed the new one as Card #2, updated EPG, etc. But when I watch the recordings from it, all I see is snow... DO I have a bum card? Are there known issues with using a PVR 250 and a PVR 150 mce?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Also - I was going to try the Hauppauge tweak tool although my file is corrput. Seems as though the original download sites are now gone. Can someone provide me with a link for downloading?
Have GBPVR 1.3.11 and on my PC everything is sweet. Watched TVNZ Sports Extra all day, record, playback, everything seems OK.
But I have my tele hooked up via MediaMVP and have specified the Cyberlink mux on Misc 2 tab. (Mux checker says thats the only mux I have and it is version 5.0.2221)
My understanding (having spent most of the weekend tracking through existing threads) is that this will cause GBPVR to record everything as MPEG-2 files (mpg).
However, when I record something like TVNZ 7 it always records .ts and transcoding fails both when I try to watch via the MVP, and when I manually try to transcode the file.
I may not be reading the attached logs correctly, but it looks like it acknowledges my choice of Cyberlink, but then goes on to specify the TS Mux?
I just tried to open GameZone tonight and it just goes back to the main menu. It doesn't even get into the list of systems and ROMs so it doesn't appear to be similar to an earlier thread I saw here.
Recently I updated my MoveWiz plugin and updated all the WizTools DLL files. Could this be causing my problem? I tried reinstalling GameZone from 2.4 and patching up to 2.9.6 (even renamed the database as suggested in the earlier thread) but it didn't work.
I attached my regular logs and if need be I can setup the insane logging.
