I have a DIVX file that will play directly from the popcorn hour, but will cause GBPVR to hang if I try to play it through the GBPVR interface. Is there any clue to the problem in the MVP-PVRX2.exe.log shown below:

The DIVX file was generated from HD MPEG TS file using DivX Converter.
Just wondering if the PCH output 'upconverts' lower resolution recordings to HD? I am thinking about building a movie library server with MovieWiz from DVD source. If I get a PCH, and run the movie from GBPVR through the PCH will I get the same quality as an 'upconverting' DVD player?
So I was working on the exes computer and she got a new flat panel monitor.
If I set the display adapter to the panels best res of 1380x1050 ? then the the desktop becomes sort of a virtual desktop which is actually larger than the panel and you have to move the mouse to the edge to make the desktop move all the way over...
Anyway, she only has the default video drivers. I don't remember installing anything else (like the bloatware that usually comes with video drivers)
Is there a settings, tweak, hack, etc that I can adjust the actual desktop dimensions to match the display adapter's dimensions? Or is that something that the bloatware would help with...?
SlimmGBPVR is quite perfect to me.
I am using it to prevent the system goes to hibernate when a recording is active.
It would be useful to complete the panel to see which is the position in the menu list (menu or submenu) and even if a recording has been paused while watching.
I have just downloaded and installed GBPVR and think it is great! I have been fumbling around with the application and specially NetRadio.
Now I notice that in the c:\temp directory there are mp3 files prefixed with "gbnetradio". The 5 mp3 file are recordings of some of the things I had been listening to.
Can someone please tell me how I recorded these stations with GBPVR?
I think I've seen the odd mention of this problem before but not a full resolution. I have a vista setup which goes into S3 sleep after 5 minutes which works fine after recordings etc. The problem is that (only recently) when it wakes automatically for the EPG update it only stays awake for exactly 2 minutes before going back to sleep (invariably before the EPG update starts). So the EPG update fails even though there are message(s) in the log

I have botched a solution with a scheduled task to keep the system awake at this time but recently found this statement about vista that might explain the problem:

If at the time of waking I have the screen switched on and interact with it then the PC stays awake fine. I'm also confused why it has only started recently (maybe one of the recent vista updates).
I am having some issues with Screen Tearing and have tried out some different fixed but can't seem to figure it out.
I have a Gigabyte 780G with an ATI 3200HD card built in. I am using the HDMI out of the card to the TV. Latest drivers for all.
I have the Haupauge 2250 hooked to my Cable (Analog, and QAM Channels)
When watching Live TV or a recording of Live TV mainly on the QAM channels I notice screen tearing with fast horizontal motion. I get a line acrossed the whole screen that looks out of sync. Once the fast motion stops the line will disappear quickly.
I am using MVP mpeg decoder as well as the Custom VMR9 mode. I did switch it to Full Screen exclusive mode and did not notice the tearing, but the Netflix plugin doesn't work with Full Screen exclusive.
CPU usage was at 20% when tearing was occurring.
What are the next steps to troubleshoot this issue.
I have linked tables from gbpvr.db3 to an access 2003 mdb database using odbc driver (from http://www.ch-werner.de/sqliteodbc/). But I cant edit any data in the tables because access says that link is not updatable. I have stopped the recording service and exited the tray utility, but it made no difference.
I'm trying to apply a new CS theme on my MVP, but when I choose the theme from the list and hit the OK button on the MVM remote, it simply goes back to the Apply/Edit theme menu, and it never actually applies the theme I selected (even after I restart GBPVR and the MVP). Should I expect this to work on the MVP?
If not, could someone point me to a method to configure the theme files by hand. (I'm guessing that this is the only way to do it, as the machine I am running on is quite old, so PVRX2 doesn't run due to the machine's ancient video card.....). If there are other options, please let me know......
