I have linked tables from gbpvr.db3 to an access 2003 mdb database using odbc driver (from http://www.ch-werner.de/sqliteodbc/). But I cant edit any data in the tables because access says that link is not updatable. I have stopped the recording service and exited the tray utility, but it made no difference.

I'm trying to apply a new CS theme on my MVP, but when I choose the theme from the list and hit the OK button on the MVM remote, it simply goes back to the Apply/Edit theme menu, and it never actually applies the theme I selected (even after I restart GBPVR and the MVP). Should I expect this to work on the MVP?

If not, could someone point me to a method to configure the theme files by hand. (I'm guessing that this is the only way to do it, as the machine I am running on is quite old, so PVRX2 doesn't run due to the machine's ancient video card.....). If there are other options, please let me know......

My HP Media Center PC came with a Nvidia 6200SE according to Device Manager in Windows XP MCE.

Windows Media Center works great with the card. I am tuning Comcast Analog Cable.

GB-PVR doesn't support the Nvidia 6200se, so I tried to use GraphEdit to determine what filters my card uses, and I cant seem to figure out how to properly edit my DIRECT.INI file....

Can anyone help me get this card to work? Thanks...

I've been trying to run the community skin and it's hit or miss... unfortunately, more miss than hit. It keeps hanging/freezing. I've attached my logs.

I'm currently using Schedules Direct and I have no real complaints - it updates fine and I do get program descriptions and stuff. It's just that my cable box (from Charter) gives longer descriptions and tells if it's a new program or a repeat.

I've installed the TV Listings plugin and it works and adds a little more info - things such as the genre and stuff, but it's not showing whether it's a new or repeat either.

I pulled up M$ Vista Media Center's guide and it's giving new or repeat info too. I thought MC got it's listings from Zap2It, which is also the source for Schedules Direct?

Anyway to get the additional info using Schedules Direct? Or, is there a better alternative for the EPG info?

Is there a seperate AC3 channel for the TVONE feed on terrestial?

I thought there used to be, but channel scanning doesn't find it now.
Would this be due to a signal quality issue?
The TVONE / TV2 mux signal is the weakest of all my stations. It was showing 40% quality for a while, but now seems to be back to 60-70%.

I have just installed the Channel Logo Tool. After exporting logo's to GBPVR and clicking finished, they do show in my channel guide. After closing GBPVR and subsequently opening again I find that all the logo's are gone. I am puzzled. Am I doing something wrong? I have removed the numbers from the logo's before exporting to GBPVR as was posted elswhere in this forum.

I am working on a small app using the Reminders and Recordings in GB-PVR.
I am using the SheduleRecording function and it always return Nothing (or null). I get Recording failed when I try to do the same with EWA.

The ScheduleHelper.getInstance works because I can read the guide et set and remove reminder. Is there a way to get more info about what's happening? I get no exception et nothing in the logs folder.

Recently... completely without reason... some avi files that played fine, no longer have audio!

They still play fine through windowsmediaplayer.

If I load the graph from gbpvr and render it (play it) with GraphEdit, it also plays fine.

I cannot understand it!

Hi everybody, i'm using gbpvr atm with an pvr card. My provider has put in fiber in the ground where i live, and as of now i have the pleasure of iptv..;-)

The fiber is coming into my house and then this is converted with a box to a normal utp cable. On that network there is normal ip. I figured out the channel ip addresses, and i can watch them in vlc with following input :

udp://@233.81.233.161:12332 for 1 channel
udp://@233.81.233.162:12332 second channel etc.

After reading up into this forum and with the plugin wiki i thought i give this plugin a try to see if i could bring it to my media pc.

After trying 2 nights in a row to get it working i got the following problems, i hope somebody can help me.

Here goes :

After installing the plugin into GBPVR09912 everything is working great. I can watch all the channels, the only strange thing that happens when i open a channel is that vlc is opened twice, one is playing the sound and one the picture.:confused:

I thought maybe this is because i'm not using it in list mode, so i installed external recorder plugin and did exactly what the wiki site said, and yep i could use the plugin in live tv and from my tv guide.. But still it opened 2 vlc players..:confused:

Second i tried to record programs, and ubustream opened vlc ok and there was a mpg file created but vlc opened again twice and didn't stop recording when the program ended.

Now i was really getting confused. On some way external record/ubustream and vlc aren't working together and i can't figure out what i'm doing wrong.

- I tried to reinstall everything again but still same problem. I can watch perfect (but can't close vlc with alt-f4 because of the 2 running).

- I can record from my tvguide, but this record is not stopped (vlc is keeping recording) and gbpvr is saying that record has failed there is a mpg file i can play with vlc but can't play it with gbpvr..

Please could you help me with this..
