I've installed GB countless times and I've had this problem twice now. I just reinstalled everything and I was having a hard time to get playback. I then remembered this problem, this is how you can induce it.

1. Turn off live preview mode.
2. Set LiveTV Buffer Directory to a folder that does not exist (in my case "C:\Temp"
3. Try and watch anything.

It's an easy fix once you know what the problem is, but it is totally baffling if you don't. Seems like it would be an easy fix (just create the folder if it doesn't exist?) Just wanted to give my feedback. Tiny thing, not a huge deal. Great work sub, as always. Your work is much appreciated.

I searched for this a lot but could not get any definitive information. Is it possible to sort the tv guide listing by the channel names?

I am very new to this app and the whole PVR world. I would say that I'm like a 4 out of 5 as a techie.

I did a search for a TitanTV integration but didn't see anything recent. I don't know if its as simple as a plugin that adds it to my epg list, similar to SchedulesDirect.

The Satellite channels on Badr4 don't use EPG :mad: . So i have to use manual recording all the time and there are tens of good programs that air from Saturday to Wednesday or to Thursday.but there is no option for that in the Manual recording options .Is there any other way to record from sat-wed.

I have GBPVR setup (V1.2.13) and running wonderfully. I am using a PVR500 card, and have setup two capture sources, one for each hardware chip on the PVR500. However when I seek to record two programs at the same time I get a conflict.

I have setup all the channels on each capture source. Thus I have ABC #1 for capture source 1 and ABC #2 (same channel, but setup on the second hardware chip) etc. I want to record a program on Seven #1 and at the same time record a program on ABC #2. To my understanding this should work and use the two hardware chips on the PVR500.

What am I doing wrong?

I have been using gbpvr on the popcorn and lately it has changed. I used to be able to see the music files in the folder that I choose but lately I see the first 3 folders but I cant go into them. I ran the live tv and then went back into the music library and the files came up, but as soon as I went out to the menu and came back in I had the same problem.
Any ideas

after many testings i am stuck again, with a severe recording problem this time
for short: most (NOT ALL >> what really drives me crazy :o ) recordings during the last days are incomplete (frankly, maybe since a started using gb-pvr with 1.2.13 about 3 weeks ago), it just STOPS recording somewhere in the middle of the job, sometimes even right in the beginning. worse, gp-pvr recording service obviously doesn't recognize this issue and keeps on pretending recording in status bar. the recorded file in the end is even saved with the correct ending-time, is not broken, i can watch it till the point where it stopped recording.
i don't think its neither a EPG issue (as start- and finishing times are all ok) nor is the signal (as no recording problems at all with the tv-software originally provided with the capture card).
any help would be much appreciated!

not sure why, but it does on my machine.

was getting some blurrying/ghosting movement after using real vnc for the first time (installed in user mode on vista).

uninstalled and picture cleared up straight away (like it was before i first connected with VNC)

Service stops every night at 02.14. Have applied the patch to GBPVRTSMon.ax re channel scanning and this fixed another problem (crash when tuning) but not this one.

Using a Nebula DigiTV card and a Hauppauge Nova-TB stick.

Just finished getting my T-300 working, I love this program! so much more reliable in recording than others.

I have come across one other issue,a similar problem has occured with the fusion nano.

Won't produce any channels during scan, but FusionHDTV finds them all.

I've attached the logs.

Side note: How can you control what filters things go through?
