can gbpvr 1.2.13 (latest version) record programs in the dvrms format?

I am using windows xp pro and do not have WMC.

Hi all - excuse the newbie questions.

I have a PCH A-100 with latest stable firmware and my server is a Windows Home Server (currently not firewalled)

I have installed latest GBVPR, all necessary patches and config.xml changes and installed scripts and mvpmcx2 on the appropriate share. PCH can run telnet script successfully - I can telnet into the PCH without problems. But when I select the gbpvr script I get a blank screen and no remote keys will recover the PCH menus - I have to unlug/replug the PCH power lead.

I have noticed that your survival guide says that PVXR2.exe should be in the firewall exceptions (does not apply to me as I have firewall disabled). However because my WHS is headless it has only basic onboard Intel 945GC graphics and does not therefore have the VMR9 renderer. So to test GBPVR on my WHS I usually run GBPVR.exe (old interface). Could this be the cause of my problems?

I've been wrestling with my rebuilt repurposed Captive Works CW3000HD (uses the Asus M2NPV-VM board) for the last 2 weeks and cannot get this problem fixed.

I need to feed 2 MVP's and so I set the MVP servers setting in the GBPVR config tool to 2. When I save the settings and the recording service restarts my processor instantly gets pinned to 100% and playback of anything is a nightmare both on the local machine and the remote MVP's.

On the other hand, when I set the MVP servers to 0 everything on the local machine runs fine with the processor spiking at about 35% worst case (when I'm watching satellite via Twinhan 1020).

The other thing I've noted is that there doesn't appear to be a MVPmacaddress.MPG file created for the remote MVP client. I assume that this gets dumped in my recordings or live preview folders? It's almost like GBPVR is feeding the pictures out live rather than from the file.

I've updated to the latest release and the latest VCREDIST offerings and whilst the upgrade went without hitch (good one Sub!!) my problem persists.

I've been recently hammering the internet for a one stop shop to watch internet tv from my computer. The truth is it doesn't really exist in any true form yet. I think this direction would be incredible for GBPVR. You can record it or watch it now from these sources. I know we can use the embeded IE control to watch netflix movies. What if we extend that feature further and deeper into the framework. I would love it if we could build an application that uses netflix watchnow, abc,nbc, cbs etc in conjunction with live and recorded tv to create the ultimate tivo killer!

What do you say? Whos in?

I know I should use stop, but I got so used to using the back key on teh MVP, I can't help it. Thing is, it crashes the PCH; I have to reboot it by pulling the plug. Is there any way to make it behave like stop?

I get the following error when I try to log into EWA since I upgraded gbpvr to 1.2.13. I found that I was running version 74 of EWA so I upgraded to build 76 and I'm still getting this error. I'm using IIS and I've given full control to Everyone to the gbpvr directory (temporarily) and still get the error. Any suggestions?

This may seem like a strange question but is there a way to adjust what size the interface resizes to when you exit to the Windows desktop (Alt Enter) mine goes very small and I don't always want it to be unnoticable I just want to have access to my desktop. If I manually expand it it remembers until the next time I restart but is there a place in the config that I'm not seeing where you can tell it to resize to like 25, 50, 75% or something like that.

This worked great on my HVR3000 system upgrading from 1.2.9. However the upgrade failed with a fatal error on my HVR900 system and rolled back.

I can't find the reason why. Does anyone know where to find the install logs?

Upgraded to 1.2.13 and now I can't tune any of my BDA channels off a Twinhan 1020a. My analog tuner works fine.
I've attached the logs.
The weird thing is that config.exe is perfectly accessing the tuner, allowing me to view the channels in the little preview box. I also attached a config.exe log which works, as reference.
The twinhan has a distinct clicking sound it makes when turning on, when using PVRX2 it doesn't make that sound, almost as if it's not being turned on at all.
