How can you remotely access your media. I do not necissarily wnay to use the PVR portion of theis app yet as I do not have a tuner card, but would like to use the app in the meantime to access my other media.

This would be a nice addition that would need minimal user options, but would require some RSS integration and then the ability to download the content. Streaming is just not an option for te high quality video podcast files that are large and look wonderful on an HDTV.
Of course local quicktime support would be a given as most are coded in that format.
TiVo has added this sort of feature to their latest firmware.

I've been away for a while, and am not sure if there is some plugin ro addon that would support an RSS feed like http://tvrss.net/ and then use torrent client to download the program and store in a place that would be presented in a pretty GBPVR menu, but I would really like to see something like this. That would make GBPVR and AppleTV killer.
I have successfully added a new device to GBPVR. Stations are tuned and program channels work properly.
The device entry for the bda.ini file is as below:
[AVerTV Hybrid+FM Volar DVB-T (A828)]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
FILTER_TUNER=AVerMedia Hybrid TV BDA Tuner (XC3018)
FILTER_CAPTURE=AVerMedia Hybrid TV BDA TS Capture
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
I have just installed the latest drivers for my AverMedia A180 (A180_WHQL_Drv_V3.5.0.44_x32). I ran a scan for digital channels on an OTA signal and none were found. The signal strength and quality were high enough at times but none were registered. I was able to find quite a few channels using the Aver specific TV software. Any ideas? Logs attached.
After I record a program in HD and I goto the recordings tab and try to watch it; the program will not play. I can watch it if I go to the videos tab, but not in the recordings tab. I can watch SD recordings no problem in both places. I have attached some logs but I am not sure if they are the right ones or not.
Would be cool if you could mark a position in a recording (or more realistically save the time marker) so that if you wish you could jump back to the point where you left off in a recording. I find myself watching several movies at one sitting sometimes, and when I get tired in the middle of one I shut it down. I know I could pause it and leave it (I do sometimes), but I have other family members who like to come in and watch their recordings before I get a chance to watch again.
I run a GBPVR setup with an MCE 500 Twin Analogue Tuner card.
I am looking at switching to Digital, but have some questions.
1/ Does a twin DVB-S card exist?
2/ Does a twin DVB-T card exist?
3/ Are the above supported?
4/ Will I have to continue using an external EPG XML feed or does the DVD-S and DVB-T support an EPG? From my reading it looks like DVB-S supports an EPG in New Zealand.
I have a slim form factor Silverstone box in my lounge and only have room for one card, hence the concentration on the twin tuners. I have also been told that it may be possible for a single tuner to record two channels at once? I suppose in theory this is possible as we are talking about a single digital signal, but wouldn't this mean GBPVR would have to support it?
My wish is for someone to update the sports plugin to the new pvrx2 interface. Currently I can get it to show up but if I select it it will not go back to the main menu.
