When I actually got GBPVR, I thought that I could only used GBPVR and there was no other program that comes with GBPVR, when I was messing around with all the programs on my computer, I realised that there is PVRX2 from GBPVR as well, I clicked it, and saw that it does the same thing as GBPVr, except the theme has changed a bit, and looks better, I see that in the new version of GBPVR it also has PVRX2, I thought PVRX2 was like a beta version of GBPVR.
I am experimenting with the powercontrol plugin, providing timer.exe with gbpvr 1.1.5, using the pvrx2 interface.
I want to try and use the plugin to make sure the machine goes off to hibernate reliably, it will run and appear in the system tray, after a while it will provide a pop up box stating "run time error 13" "type mismatch", I know what the error means but does anyone know whats causing it, and importantly how to fix it, or is this a bug in timer.exe.
Any help appreciated, or has anyone got the killer utility to manage the power with GBPVR, I dont like the parallel processing and postprocessing batch files, if the system is recording while I am watching or doing something, recording ends and it triggers psshutdown.
Hi Just a question before I go and buy some, Do Homeplug network adaptors (the 85mbps ones) work with MVP`s, I`m thinking about using 3 to 4 of them with 3 to 4 MVP`s.
Also, would a Pentium 4 3000 be powerfull enough for 4 MVP`s.
Is there a utility that will allow me to edit the database and put the name I want the program recorded as? I record a lot of international programming and there is never any additional information other than title in the programming guides. I would like to edit the scheduled recordings say once a week or so to put the additional information like episode and such or the entire new name.
I am having trouble with the web server I get the following error message
7-12-20 15:39:32.156 ERROR [4] Error starting webserver: Could not load file or assembly 'GBPVRRecordingService, Version=1.0.2870.25789, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The module was expected to contain an assembly manifest.
tried reinstall even system restore still wont start any ideas?
I have a dish 322 receiver that goes into some sort of screen saver in the middle of the night. To attempt to fix this, I set up a 2 minute manual record at around the time that the receiver activates the screen saver. Unfortunately, I think that I accidentally changed the record channel to a station that I don't have.
Now, whenever I attempt to view 'recordings', it opens up for a moment (less than half a second) and then goes back to the menu. I checked in the manual recordings folder outside of gbpvr and the file is not there.
