I'm trying to use the WOL feature...

I am able to wake the GBPvr machine using a program I downloaded on my laptop (mc-wol.exe) without problem.

However, the WOL on the MVPMC does not wake the computer. I noticed the mc-wol.exe program uses the MAC address of the pvr computer. It looks like MVPMC is using the IP Address. Could this be why it is not working?

I did find a workaround: My pvr machine is using a new Intel MB w/ integrated LAN. In the driver configuration, there are several options for waking the computer via LAN. One is for Magic Packets of course and another one that I enabled is for any directed packets. (Any attempt to connect to the computer will wake it up) This works, however I'm worried that other packets on the lan may unnecessarily wake the computer.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

on xmltv.org I read the grabber for germany has been removed due to copyright reasons and on http://xmltv.org/wiki/xmltvworlddomination.html germany is shown in white.

As I live in germany I wonder where others get their xmltv data from? Anyone reading this, helping me out?

Is it possible to get GB-PVR use VLC player instead Media Player for the music library?
Because when I press play all in the music library it only plays the first file and stops when it should play all the files in that folder.

I have finally given up on BeyondTV working under Vista64 (I am just having too many problems) and decided to switch back over to GBPVR which I have been away from for awhile. I am in the US using SchedulesDirect on the AverMedia M780.

I saw the post about getting the QAM tuner to work but there was a note about "Have the BDA scan for channels" but I don't see a way to do that. Where is that option?

Also is there a way to only record new episodes of a show? Is that what "all episodes on this channel" is for?

pvr150 connected to STB via composite
Avermedia 785 connected with aeriel.
It worked great before the upgrade.
When i work with the avermedia there is no sound or picture, with pvr150 everything is good

I'm fairly new and was wondering if there is a plugin to record h264 encoded .avi shows to dvd. I have installed BurnDVDX2 and it looks to be mpeg2 only.

I use mencoder lavc to encode my shows to h264. Quality and size is the best I have found. I can record with external program but it would be great to do it from pvr.
