  file groups
Posted by: tvshowman - 2007-12-08, 07:11 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (2)

Hello! I love the program but I am having a huge problem managing my recorded files.

is there a way to just see the files and the file size sorted by date?

I look in the video folder and each file has it's own directory and there is usually a few more files in there that i made from stopping the recording process to test video graphs.

can I turn off the make directory feature and have all my recordings sit in one directory?

this will make it easier for me to find the small file sizes and delete etc...

i'm really lost the way it is now

please help someone

is there a config?

thanks for your help

I try to auto convert dvr-ms (QAM) recordings to xvid, mpg, or wmv. I set conversion starts ASAP in the processing tab. I can record shows as always, but conversion never happens. Any ideas where goes wrong? Thanks!!

Where does GBPVR look for video files?
Posted by: suddste - 2007-12-08, 06:30 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (1)

Hi,

I want to view some video files in GBPVR, the problem is, it shows nothing on the list when I try to, I know I do have some video files on my system, the program is just not finding them, I could try to move the video files to the folder that the program looks in if that will fix it. Any ideas?

Thanks for the reply!

  Recording .ts files
Posted by: SteveBax - 2007-12-08, 04:34 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (10)

I was just wondering how you record .ts files using gbpvr??
I would like to know because i know they are the best quality files.

I tried to do it by changing the bda multiplexer to ts mux and it records everything to .ts files now.

I don't know if I did it right though

Any help would be appreciated Smile

  Video Skips Ahead
Posted by: koacamper - 2007-12-08, 03:51 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (9)

Hello,
I'm running into an issue when watching recorded shows...for some reason the video will skip ahead, almost like it is being fast forwarded. I will rewind the video to see if the video will play normally in these "fast-forwarded" spots but it will only show the same speedy gonzales fast forwarding. I don't have commercial skipping on. Any suggestions?

Bad Audio during DVD Playback - Voice and Music channel swap
Posted by: rbelisle - 2007-12-08, 02:02 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - No Replies

I never use the DVD playback on my PC, but the DVD player I have hooked up was having problems with a rented DVD last night, so I tried playing using through GBPVR. I had the strangest issue. This is NOT a GBPVR issue, I get the same problem when I played the DVD using other software on the PC, but I googled it and can't come up with any solutions, so I'm hoping someone here might have some insight.

The problem is that the Music audio channel and the Voice audio channel seemed to be reversed. The background music was so loud that I had to turn the TV almost up full to hear the voices and when a scene had loud music, there was no way to hear the voice channel at all.

Does anyone know if there is a way to toubleshoot this on a pc? Any ideas? Thanks.

Ray
