I am trying to get the web access to work and it is set up but there are no listings on the TV guide. I hesitate to post this because there is probably a button that says "show listings" that I am not seeing or something but I thought I would ask.
This is the original web access. I have not been able to get the advanced web access to work and I have a feeling it is the same problem. When the advanced admin is installed it throws an error which has something to do with the listings.
The listings appear in the actual gbpvr interface.
I'm getting ready to rebuild my pc with a new motherboard and video card and would like to save my GBPVR setup. I would like to avoid rescanning and assigning my qam channels and setting up my SD information for my sources. Can I just save my GBPVR folder and copy it over a new installation?
Hi, I am using GBPVR 1.0.16 with Ubustream V2.2. When trying to listen to a radio stream in timeshift mode, I hear nothing. Watching a video stream in timeshift mode poses no problems. Please find attached the logs of GBPVR, where you can see for the audio stream the internal player is not started to read the MP3 file. The MP3 file is created, and I can play it back using Windows Media Player. I have already been playing with the delays on creating the file and playback in the advanced options for the audiostream I want to play. As a comparison I have also added the log when playing a video stream. I have also tried this with GBPVR 1.0.8, same thing.
First, could someone please explain why the wiki has screenshots of v0.18b ? As far as I can see the latest version to download is v1.0.16
Secondly, I have a WinTV Nova-S, which is in the wiki list as having native support in GBPVR, but, I can't see it in the drop down list in the Capture Sources tab of the config applet. Again I'm puzzled. How's is done?
I currently have a 14mbs homeplug network which has worked very well. I have recently moved house and want to set up a client GPBVR PC in my bedroom.
Has anyone used the 85mbs homeplug for a GBPVR client as these are cheaper and computable with my current setup or should I scrap what I already have and get a 200mbs set up.
Reading through I see the MVP has various functionality similar or superior to the original software. Does anyone have a full list of all the functions?
I really liked the 10%, 20% etc jump function of Hauppage's software. Is something similar available on GBPVR?
I installed the new EWA build 66 and after installing it my GBPVR crashes. When ever I try to start the config program, it comes up with all Kinds of mumble jumble about SQLite.
Won't bring up PVRX2 or allow EWA. I tried reinstalling V16, but doesn't seem to help this time.
Don't know how to use logzip with out bringing up PVRX2 and that won't work either. The only change I made was adding EWA and the SchedulesDirect utility
Any ideas?
This is a long story but our main computer has been sitting in our office for a long time collecting dust. It is still being used but only as a file server for music and to record TV shows. It was taking up space and the signal for wireless in out living room was week so I decided I would put just the computer behind a chair in the living room with no monitor connected and then we could use Windows remote desktop so that we could select shows to record.
The problem is that I get an error that says the system does not support the vmr9 video render. Since GBPVR has always worked perfectly, I am assuming this is being caused by the remote desktop connection right? It probably can't render the video on the laptops. Is there any workaround? I do not want to watch the video through that machine, I just need to be able to set up the recordings. I watch the mpeg files over the network once they are recorded.
Does anybody have any suggestions? It seemed like at one time I used gotomyPC to remote control GBPVR and set up recordings while I was at work.
