TV Guide - Cannot move to the right
Posted by: shaamone - 2007-07-11, 09:07 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (7)

I'm having a bit of a silly problem that's probably down to something silly I haven't done or read properly yet.

If I go to the TV guide & try to select a future program (ie by pressing the right cursor) the selector box will not move. It will move backward to view old progs but I can't for example select the next available program to schedule recording etc..

Am I missing something silly?

Hi sub - i dont know if you have thought about setting something up - but to save you and everyone posting the same old bug over - do you think it would be a good idea to set something up like media portal have got for keeping track of bugs and that status of them - i think they call it mantis - anyway just a thought.

  MusicLibrary2 - Version 6.2 - PVRX2 Compatible
Posted by: psycik - 2007-07-11, 08:26 AM - Forum: Recording2, MusicLibrary2, SystemStatus Support - Replies (37)

Hi

Just released the 6.2 version of ML2. Please see the history on http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Plugin/MusicLibrary2

I wont list all the changes here.

While this version will work in PVRX2 1.0.8 it is not written for it. I.e. uses the old drawing system.

A new Music Library (MusicLibrary3) will be coming out sometime in the future.

Use this thread for any problems.

  Controlling MVP over network
Posted by: undret - 2007-07-11, 07:11 AM - Forum: MVP & NMT - Replies (1)

The usual way of controlling the MVP is via the IR remote control device. What I am looking for is a way to control it from other computers on my LAN, including the GBPVR computer.
Perhaps as a "remote control emulator"

A use case that I have in mind (just one of them) is like the following: On one computer (this could be the GBPVR server as well as some other computer), a picture has just been downloaded. A context menu on that file could include an item "Open on MVP". Selecting that would result in the TV displaying it.
Is this possible?
The effect would be the same as if I:
1. Placed the file in a photo library directory of GBPVR
2. Used the remote control to navigate to it, and display.
Any thought?

An alternative is if there was an icon on the desktop that I would drop the file on => MVP displays it on my TV set.
Something like that...
Regards

  Listings problem 1.08
Posted by: grandalf - 2007-07-11, 06:50 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (2)

I have done several clean installs and always get this problem. When listings are shown, blocks of them are greyed out so that they are very difficult to read, seem to select ok though. Also the MCE remote or keyboard will will not move the on screen cursor left or right, only up and down at the current time position.
I have also noticed the the community skin locks up if you open the weather plugin, standard blue skin is ok in this respect. Any advice would be most welcome.

Recursive scheduling survive at the cancel
Posted by: aiacel - 2007-07-11, 06:49 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (1)

I use 99.12 yet. I cancel the scheduling in "pending" and "recursive" but GBPVR still wakes up my PC and records the program. Do I mistake something?
