Am I the only one with these problems ? Or am I using the wrong approach ?
I live in Nijmegen the Netherlands and have Cable-TV from provider UPC.
There must be many GB-PVR fans here in the Netherlands I guess, how are
they getting their EPG data ?
I use Ammontillado's TVGids_to_xml grabber and also the Clean_XML program
thereafter as recommended.
Recentely I get EPG data of only a few channels, much less that I normally
get, many channels are empty.
I run the grabber in a batchfile at night, before the system shuts down.
It used to work fine, with a glitch from time to time but not as bad as it is
now. And I have no idea how to debug this.
Hi, i transfer to use gb-pvr recently because my MC keep on generating crash report .... i get everything up and running ... but when i play the video it seem to be zoom in ... how do i fix it to see full image ... i been playing with the playback setting no luck ...i been search around the fourm ... it tell me to change the decodeing setting but i dont see the nvida ooption ...
Hi everyone,
I needed something better to bring my ever growing music and video library plus photos together in one easy interface...especially as i have 2 kids constantly asking how to do this and where's so and so. GBPVR seemed to be the solution..However all seems to have gone boola! I configured gbpvr.. ignorant of what i was doing..First problem was, Vm7 was the only option that I could choose that allowed me to continue futher wth the config. having gone through the config pointing gbpvr at the nas storage on tmy network I managed to access all my photos, my video also appeared in the lbrary.. but when i tried to play one gbpvr froze..Tho it appeared to be accessing the nas. I left it a awhile but eventually had to end it using task manager.. since then gbpvr will not start...I can start config but it will not start the pvr interface. I uninstalled it and reinstalled but still nothing...furthmore If I now try to play a movie with Media player 11 I only get the sound..no video? I tried Media player on 2 avi files whcih i had left on my system after transfering to the nas and they played ok. What have i done?
Cheers
Eamonn
Hi,
Does anyone know of a (preferably free) EQ that effects audio output in realtime? I have an old SoundBlaster Live! card which included software that allowed this but after an MB upgrade with onboard sound I did not put the card back in. There's a US$20 upgrade I can purchase that will give me realtime effects but I do not believe that it will give me a proper EQ.
I'd love to not have to put the old Live! card back in if anyone can help me!!
Cheers.
Matt.
RSS feed support (RSS 2.0, iTunes and Media extensions) enables subscribing to syndicated audio/video content (podcasts and vodcasts). Enclosure media files can be directly streamed from URL or downloaded to disk for later playback.
Thumbnail image support for stations and groups.
Ability to toggle between list, detail, icon and filmstrip views in the plugin UI.
Web video search (find videos using Google, Yahoo or YouTube search engines). Import selected results as stations and/or save search as RSS feed.
Multi-tier nested groups (organize groups within groups; mix stations and groups within parent groups).
Built-in scheduling of Dynamic Source and RSS Feed updates.
For more info (and to report bugs) check out the v2.2 beta test thread on the UbuStream support sub-forum.
To skinners: The v2.2 skin files are pretty stable and unlikely to change before the "official" release. There have been a lot of changes since v2.1 so, if you want to get a head-start on a v2.2 skin, you can download the beta version now.
UbuStream v2.2 is now available for testing. You can download it from the main UbuStream wiki page.
New features:
Ability to select individual real-time AutoSynch updates directly from the plugin UI.
Improved logging of Config app and AutoSynch events and errors.
Dynamic Source configuration “Setup” form support.
Various cosmetic and usability changes to both the config app and the plugin UI.
Check out the v2.2 README file for more details about the new features. This release is looking fairly stable but I'm sure there's a few "undocumented" features still to be found. Let me know if you find any.
Not sure if this has been covered before - couldnt find anything relevant on the forums.
I am using GBPVR 0.99.12 and XMLTV.
If I manually run XMLTV (3 days), and then tell GBPVR to Update EPG, start up the program and check, the guide is working perfectly. XMLTV is run via a batch file at 2am every day, and GBPVR is set to update epg at 5am.
I did the manual update last night (after weeks of complaining from the missus) and restarted GBPVR. All was well. Got home from work again today and the guide is 'empty'... almost. Prime is still listed, but every other channel is empty.
Question 1
I want to output a 16:9 on HDMI to a local Plasma and still have the standard 4:3 as well going to a modulator to drive other sets in the house.
Can this be done?
Question 2
Can I run a 16:9 output and still run a 4:3 MVP simultaneously?
I suddenly started getting this when I tried to do anything:
