Hi, I'm new to GB-PVR. I previously used SageTV with the zap2it listings a couple years back. I have recently setup again using GB-PVR and am quite impressed. I have a pvr-250 and the included remote as well as a USB-UIRT for channel changing.
I cannot figgure out the controls on the remote. Some work, some dont, few work as per the settings in the documentation found HERE. I have the silver 34 button remote, can i change or add controls, or should I try setting it to the 45 button remote in the config?

I found from one of the old XRecord Posts that Converter3 belongs to Xrecord. Would you have any idea why Xrecord throws this error? I am running Xrecord .48.
I wonder if sub could give you an XRecord sub-forum btw ... ?
Looks like just what I'm after, even with five capture devices I still get ends chopped off when it is a busy night recording like tonight.
When you say "Then it checks if there was show on the same tuner, preceding or following the current show..." does it check the "tuner" or the "channel" that is being recorded?
as this combination seemed to work best for multiple tuners (before zback2back of course) would it be better to change these back to defaults now?
I have just tried to set zb2b up on my test machine running v0.99.12 (my main server is still running v0.99.5 so that may have to be updated first before I put zb2b onto it) & I get a "Component 'comdlg32.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid" error message! Any ideas?
Recodring service max my cpu and I cannot do a thing with my computer. I am note really sure why, it seems to happen during recordings and otherwise. I have recently upgraded to the latest Fusion drivers, but I am not sure that is the problem, tuning and recording seem to be fine. Logs are attached (rename to log.rar if it does not open). I have the Volume OSD plugin installed, and am trying to figure out where I can change how much the VOL+ and VOL- changes the volume. I've found it before, but for the life of me can't find it again. It's set to 5% change right now, and I want it lower so I can have finer granularity control of volume. I used to have it at 2% when I first installed GB-PVR, but can't figure out how I changed that amount.
I find a number of these error messages in my GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log file. After recording, after EPG update and in the log attached, just after starting the recording service (no -native log file created yet at this point.
Is it something I should worry about?

Hi,
After an unsuccessful attempt to upgrade to version 99.xx, I decided to go for a complete reinstall of my computer, and with success. The GBPVR install went like a breeze. But then I found out that the parental control software I am using (cybersitter) messes things up for GBPVR: there is no life tv anymore.
Does anyone of you use parental control software on your GBPVR machine? Without problems?
It's probably nothing but I couldn't help noticing. I found this entry in the logs:

As you can see it schedules the next update for today instead of tomorrow. But the updates work fine so I guess it's just a "typo".
Edit; I also noticed that for the scheduling entry it uses the 24 hr notation while in the rest of the logs it uses the 12 hr notation. But I think that will be changed in the next version?
