Hi,
I have a Pinnacle PCTV HD Pro Stick. The ATSC tuner works just fine on the GB-PVR but the analog tuner doesn't seem to be supported by PVR. I tried to look for it under direct recording but it doesn't show up. It only comes up under BDA recording plugin. And the BDA recording doesn't have an option of analog reception.
I don't really know if there is any other way to tune in the analog channels from my tuner using GB-PVR.
i have move one of my card to another computor and have some problem now
if i reboot my computor the video standard change to secam_L in happauge tweak and i have to go in there and change it to get color othervise it is black and white and in the happauge tweak it says that i have 0 in signal in the card
but if i start the win2000 after reboot the video standard change automaticly and i have 1 in signal too ! then i can start the GBpvr and it works okey
and if i turn of the hypertreading in the bios evrything works okey but i vant it on because the doe´s much to the computor´s effect
Don't know if anyone here enjoys Jon Stewart Daily Show humor, but I thought this was pretty classic. On the Iranian hostage crisis: The Next Generation
Does your dongle support the use of nas drives via Upnp the device i have in mind is a synology ds-106 http://synology.com if so can this fuction be used without the pc being switched on.
In my pursuit to get my new Cinergy 2400i DT to work (which I may have nailed) my longtime working 350 stopped working.
I moved the recording source sequence around quite a bit using the new sequence feature. Maybe that screwed things up?
Anyway, at one point it stopped being able to record anything, and suddenly made the GBPVRRecordingService.exe-native.log grow uncontrollably with app. 750MB/hr !!! all by constantly adding the line:
Wondering if you can take a look at my logs to see if there is anything obvious that might be causing my sound troubles. I get no sound when watch livetv or recordings through GBPVR. I also get no sound when I use wmp to replay recordings which would suggest I have an issue with my system codecs...which I have not found a problem with yet. I do sometimes get sound when I play recordings through VLC...but only sometimes (this seems channel specific). I have also included my filtercheck log.
I'm guessing the answer is no but just looking for a confirmation...
Is it possible for the native Net Radio app. to play MP4 Shoutcast streams?
My local radio station has a 96kbps MP3 stream which is pretty awful (not sure what they're doing to it to make it so bad). The also have a 64kbps MP4 stream which is actually really good quality but the Net Radio app. doesn't get past connecting to the site - I can see the station details in the info panel at the bottom of the screen but no sound.
Hey guys, I've been toying with the idea of adding a HomerunHD tuner to my system but am finding that my system is underpowered in playing back HD streams. I tested by downloading a 720p program from alt.binaries.hdtv and found that the program played back extremely slowly in the video library plugin. However, when I played it back using mplayer it played back much smoother but still not smooth enough.
My current set up is AMD Athlon XP 2000+, ECS K7S5APro, 1 gig SDRAM, ATI Radeon 9550 Svid Out. What would give me the best advantage? A faster processor or an upgrade on the video card? As always, I'm trying to do this on a minimal budget so cost is of great concern.
