I have an LCD monitor that I can rotate to be in Portrait orientation (taller than wider). This is useful for browsing, editing text, etc.
When I run GB-PVR, it plays files just fine, but navigating menus is problematic. Often I can select an option or a menu, but the window will not update until I click on something OTHER than the GB-PVR window. This a is rather annoying, though a non-fatal bug.
I'm running GB-PVR 98.13b, Win XP Pro, NVidia 6200LT with newest drivers. I've had this problem with previous versions of GB-PVR and NVidia drivers.
Has anyone noticed that when you run GBPVR in client mode on another PC and select a program from the guide, all your STB's change to that channel/program?
The recording service still shows that the other tuners are showing alternate shows.
Sub, do you have any insight into this phenomenon?
I find that the InterVideo Multiplexer, from my copy of WinDVD Creator 2, works better for live TV, but recording always fails. Error from recording service is:

The Cyberlink one works and does not give an error, but both the live TV, and more so, the recorded shows skip, freeze and gets out of sync... not really watchable. Hence trying to get the InterVideo one working which seems to perform better with live TV.
I picked up a VBOX Cat's Eye USB Tuner last night and I was able to get it to record, but I can't watch my recorded shows or live TV through gBPVR.
In my system I only have two possible decoders for video--the Cyberlink one (I have PowerDVD 5 OEM installed) and the decoder my FusionDTV card uses. I know the shows are recording because I've taken them into DgDecode and I have to set the PIDs for the right show.
is it possible that the OEM version of PowerDVD 5 doesn't expose the decoder to other programs, and I have to get something like the nVIDIA codec?
I'm not currently at my home computer, so I can't upload any logs yet, but I will be able to in a few hours.
New problem after adding Hauppauge HVR-950. I lose audio when I change channel from HVR-950 to pvr150. I get the same results with Nvidia,Intervideo and cyberlink.I have attached logs. Steps I preformed are
1>tune to channel 268 (pvr150) -audio/video good
2>tune to channel 363 (hvr950) -audio/video good
3>tune back to channel 268 or any other channel -good video/ no audio
4>exit timeshift and gbpvr appears to lockup?? The currently playing video stops but the last frame of video from the HVR950 is shown. I have to force close gbpvr to work.
Interesting note is that while gbpvr appeared frozen I tried to play any of the 3 files in windows media player and had no audio. Once I killed gbpvr the audio began to work.
Thank you guys so much for your help earlier -- I didn't think I would ever get things working, but I now have beautiful HD OTA signals piped through GBPVR.
Question -- I also have Directv. My card has analog inputs, but I'm at a loss of how to set them up and access them? Any pointers in the right direction?
