As the title indicates, I can't turn the volume up or down in Music Library. I tried a patch that Sub had posted, but after that, GBPVR wouldn't work (and I tried a reboot just to make sure). I have a Hauppauge PVR150.
I haven't been able to find this problem so here I go--
Since my update to 0.97.7 my live TV has serious issues. It's very slow to start, as in the images displayed on TV. It seems to just display a frame at a time then kind of catches up after awhile. Also, the audio seems to not be synced up anymore. If I change channels, it starts all over with a "frame by frame" display on my tv. Recording seems to be fine so far and playback of recording as well
Here's a plugin I had running for myself for a while. Thought I'd release it.
Its just a recordings viewer. No videos, no scheduling, just choose a recording, play it...delete it. Nice and simple.
If I starts getting used I'll put it on the wiki......if one of the other plugins that views recordings wants to incorporate a view like this...then so be it I dont mind.
Purely designed for quick and easy recordings viewing. And on my MVP I've made the font REALLY big since my MVP tv is small. So it lends itself well for that.
I'd probably consider this a beta release. But I've been using it successfully for about 6 months.
Couple of features:
Shows Items that have been watched or not
Shows Items that are missing (in the DB but don't exist as a file)
Has the ability to replace the local path with another path, i.e replace G: with \\GBPVR for network clients
I was just listening to some of my favourite tunes and thought hey there should be a lyrics plugin.
Basically, if there's a song_lyrics.txt then it'll display an inset with the lyrics from that text file. The ability to choose fonts would be cool, but normal arial would be fine.
Next step is to have timing so that you can karaoke....just kidding.
I have an Emuzed Maui 2S in my computer. I installed GBPVR and it didn't work at first. I edited direct.ini, and now I have it working well. Here is the text I added:
[Emuzed Maui 2S]

Could you please add this to the official direct.ini?
BTW, I basically took the IIIG code and modified it to not use the ATI MUX. I find it weird that I'm basically piping the Audio Out to Video Virtual In and vice versa, but trying it to do it the "logical" way doesn't seem to work
I have been using GBPVR for a very long time now and have been extremely pleased with the program. The fact that it has taken this long for me to finally register to post a question is a testament to the quality of the program, the help in this forum, and the patient support that sub provides.
I have had no problems with the new version 97.7. The install went great. I converted the database without issue. I set up the config file exactly as I had it before. TV watching was as if it had never been interrupted.
Until... without warning or provocation, launching config.exe gave the error detailed in the attached, zipped log files.
Sub,
I installed the latest GB-PVR and when I playback recordings or movies I get a windows error (send report ..etc). The video plays back fine in the background until I click on the error message then GBPVR exists. Every thing else seems to work fine. I am only using two plugins (weather and MyVideos) and both seem to be working fine. The GBPVR logs have nothing in them. I copied the error message from windows logs and attached it. I am using the Nvidia decoder and I have both .Net 1.1 and 2 installed.
Does the conversion processing built into gb-pvr seem to work? I have set it up to convert to xvid, (although the 'settings' button is greyed out) and all I get is avi files that wont play in gb-pvr or media player. I have XviD-1.1.0-30122005 installed. Tried wmv conversion too but that doesn't seem to make any converted files at all. Am I just missing something obvious or should I take another route by scheduling a batch file manually? Thanks in advance.
I am setting up my first GBPVR iinstall, and I'm having a bit of a problem with Zap2It. When I try to force an EPG update, it won't let me log in. The username and password are good because I can login to labs.zap2it.com with no problems, and the lineup is set. Does it take time for an account to get ready, or something like that? Thanks in advance everyone.
