I can't seem to find on the boards how to set my channels. I am currently running comcast cable (anolog) with a mediamvp set up. I have a subscription to zapit for the channels and all those are fine. However when I try to watch Live TV I am told that the tuners I have chosen are not acceptable to the stations I want to watch.
Can someone please refer me to the correct thread where I can rectify this problem or perhaps tell me what I am doing wrong? It all would be greatly appreciated.
I should add quickly that I do not have the cable attached to the 150 mcr capture card inside the computer. Do I still need to do this even though I am using the Mediamvp as a front end system?
Ever since I upgraded to the latest GBPVR version, the Music Panel has stopped displaying on the main menu; I can't figure out why and it's driving me nuts.
Can someone give the attached skin.xml files a quick look-over and just check I haven't screwed something up??
Microsoft Corp. will delay the consumer release of its new Windows operating system until January 2007, missing the holiday sales season and throwing some PC makers and retailers into turmoil.

The delay in Windows Vista â caused by Microsoft needing more time to enhance security and other functions â will come as a blow to Microsoft partners who were looking forward to a new operating system to boost holiday sales.
I haven't updated GB-PVR since version 95.16. I was hoping to find somewhere the listing of the enhancements and fixes for all revisions between 95.16 and the current 96.12. However, all I can find is the listings for 96.08 and 96.12. Can someone point me in the right direction?
When I decided to build a PVR, I got a great deal on a Compaq Evo 510.. I've seen others on here using the same system - it's essentially a very compact P4 system with limited expandability. I recently upgraded the CD-ROM to a DVD-ROM and after discussing with "sub", have realised that I probably need to upgrade a couple more things before I get it working exactly the way I want..
What I would like:
- PVR functionality (have this with current setup)
- LiveTV
- Ability to play DVD's with audio going through my stereo for 5.1 surround.
I already have the PVR-350 for a capture card and had been using it for the output as well, but the output doesn't support DVD playback so I'm going to be adding a new graphic card that supports TV-out. My system has limited expansion capability and the card must be PCI. I'd like something that supports S-Video at least and can handle the load being thrown at it.. and, of course, for the lowest price!
Any suggestions?
For audio, I'm going to have to start looking into USB devices as there is only one expansion slot left and that will be taken by the new graphics card.. any suggestions there? I would like something that has optical out for going to the stereo and that will allow me to have my Amp do all of the 5.1 conversions.. nor sure of all the technical details here.
I'm using a single PVR-150 tuner. Currently my system is running a scheduled recording, what I would like to do is watch the show while it is recording, but when I go to play, it appears to be hung at the beginning. Progress bar shows recorded time so far, bottom of screen shows guide info, but a frozen frame displays. I should be able watch the same show while it's recording, right?
Any chance that an effort could be made to ensure compatibility with ReactOS? It'd be great to have an off-the-rack free OS and PVR solution that didn't require all the configuration of Freevo or MythTV.
Heck, to work with them to distribute a custom cut with GBPVR preinstalled would be awesome....
what file contains the past recordings done because the all failed my systemdate got changed and now I can't get them to show up as recordings even though I deleted all the failed ones unless I schedule them manually one by one.
I need to find a way to fix this quick

We have a soap opera that records daily. Yesterday it appeared to record only 21:37 minutes of a 60 min show. However upon closer inspection, at 20:57 minutes the recording speeded up so that the last 40 minutes of the show was compressed into the last 1:40 seconds.
I am not sure if I have an on going problem, or if this is a one time thing.
