I noticed something last week, and again today during an update to 96.12 that seemed worth mentioning.
If I restart GB-PVR during the EPG Update "hour" it seems like it wants to go ahead and rerun the EPG update, even if it's already done it today.
I noticed this most particularly because I had been running the Config.exe application to compact the DB after the EPG update completed and it kept going back out and reloading the EPG, causing me to try and compact again ...
I haven't seen the "auto compact" after EPG update behavior work yet that was added to 96.08, so maybe that's not working as well as it could.
dottore - I notice that BlueMCE2 doesn't display the information of the tuned FM stations that were setup in the default Blue skin, it just shows an "x". Is there a change required to the xml I can make?

Depending on the actual device, one could have one of the following eMPIA USB 2.0 Video Devices
[Models]
%USB2800.DeviceDesc% = USB2800,USB\VID_EB1A&PID_2800
%USB2801.DeviceDesc% = USB2801,USB\VID_EB1A&PID_2801&MI_00

%USB2841.DeviceDesc% = USB2841,USB\VID_EB1A&PID_2841&MI_00
In the device drivers provided by Kworld, the relevant parameters will be as follows:
I have only the usb 2820 device, so do not know if there any functional differences among the various devices. Using ffdshow interlace filter seems to provide better performance.
While recording shows, the file size using this usb device was significantly larger compared to my other PCI card with on-board hardware MPEG2. Any insight for large recorded file size using such usb device will be appreciated. Is that different in Hauppage usb-pvr devices?
I have an issue with GB-PBR/my tv card. When watching live tv the audio is very low. When in time-shift mode the audio is fine, but I guess its because GB-PVR is playing back the buffer MPEG2-file. Does anybody know any way to fix the audio in live mode?
I'm using a Hauppauge 150MCE with drivers version v2.0.35.24054. I've tried other drivers and the Hauppauge tweak tool as well with no difference.
Hi guys, this is my first post on here so please go easy on me!!
I have a Twinhan 3054 PCI Ter card which has both a digital and analogue tuner.
I have also downloaded and installed the latest BDA drivers from the Twinhan website for this card (both 1.0.1.8WHQL and 1.0.1.8 Latest), but for some reason, if I try to use GBPVR and search for the card under "BDA" I am unable to find the card on my system.
I'm aware that the card is not listed as a preconfigured card in the list, but how do I actually set up GB PVR to recognise my card?
I've read on this site that GB PVR should be compatible with most cards, as long as they have BDA drivers installed for them, but I can't figure this out!!
Also, will I be able to switch between both Digital and Analogue channels easily with GB PVR? The original Twinhan software that came with this card did let me do this, but is also HORRIBLE!
Apologies if I have posted this in the wrong place.
Thanks for you time guys! Any help would be very much appreciated!!
when I go into GBPVR itself, having set up channels to just be on 94 for now (which is where my seperate cable box resides), I dont get very good reception at all in "Live TV"
Hi, is it already possible to watch Internet TV-Streams on the MVP? I have found information on this forum that says you can use VLC to do so. I already have tried something like using VLC to save the webstream to an avi file which I then can play with the video library. This was all done manually.
What I would like to know if it is possible to start something like this automatically?
I've installed GB-PVR's latest build on my AMD Athlon XP1800. OS is XP sp2 and I'm using a Hauppauge PVR-250 with fm radio...
I'm using Canadian cable provider Eastlink in Halifax, Nova Scotia...
However my cable channels are not comming in ... I have the correct card selected Hauppage PVR with fm radio and country selected as Canada...
If I select in my card settings that I'm on antena channels 2-13 are displayed perfectly... Once change my card to cable, I recieve nothing but some slight audio....
