I am running 96.8. I record a daily soap for the wife. I have it set for "Resord Season, all episodes on this channel". This show is Monday-Friday at noon. In the pending panel it show that it is scheduled M-F through 3/13 but my EPG is populated through 3/17. Is it normal behaviour for it to not schedule all days that are in the EPG?
After MPeg to AVI conversion, at what point is the reference in the database changed to reflect the new file? And what program, code, batch file, utility does this?
I have my newly recorded MPeg. I have it auto converted to AVI. Now, when I want to watch the show, I want to watch the AVI, not the Mpeg...
Prior to 96.12 I had my system setup as follows:
1) Use my videos to browse to the directory where iso's are stored
2) Click "ok" on an iso
3) Daemon tools mounts the image
4) PowerDVD is launched and begins playing.
After the upgrade, I can no longer get this to work. If I add "iso" as a file type in the config app for my videos clicking on the iso will launch power dvd, but the iso will not be mounted. If I don't have iso listed as a file type clicking on the iso causes Daemon tools to mount it, but GBPVR uses the internal player. I need to use PowerDVD because I cannot get my PVR-150 remote to work correctly with the internal player, but it works perfectly with PowerDVD. Does anyone have an idea as to why I can no longer get my videos to play the iso file back using powerDVD?
Hello, I am wondering if it is possible to have gbpvr utilize a tv tuner on another computer on the network and have all the same functions as you normally would. The reason I ask is because I have an internet appliance that is now running Windows and would like to put it in the kitchen and use it as a TV/MP3 Player/Photo viewer/Weather retrieval/etc/etc. But the only thing is, since it is not a standard PC, it does not have PCI slots.
I'm completely new to GB PVR, and this is my first post in the forums. I'm having a bit of a problem, I tried searching but didn't find much...
When I open the config dialogs some of the options and words do not appear. For example, the words on the "OK" and "Cancel" buttons are not there, I just had to assume which one was Cancel to close the dialog.
This wasn't a problem until now...when I try to start GB PVR I get some sort of error (I think), but the dialog isn't displaying the words so I don't know what to do to fix it!
I have a media mvp. Is there anyway to setup the remote to do more skip functions. I have the standard skip function done thru config (set up for 30sec) but there are times, (like when the mvp server disconnects in the middle of a movie and I have to FF from the beginning) it would be nice to have a button setup to skip 5 min ahead or something...
Oh and to all of you wonderful plug in people (who rock!) It would be nice to have some sort of "seach for time" plug in. So you could jump to 32 min into the recording.
I just upgraded up to 96.12, and am still having the same problem that folks have reported before.. After converting my recordings to DivX or XviD, the comskip breaks no longer show up. However, if I just stop playback and play it again, then they show up just fine everytime afterwards.
I've used ffmpeg and mencoder, both using the auto-convert feature and manually, and the result is always the same. GSpot shows the files with a correct index and 29.97fps..
At this point I really think its an issue in GBPVR, since everything works perfectly after the first time I play it.
sub, or anyone else, can you shed some light on this?
