How long has gbpvr been around?

IS it possible to change the plugin name? I really want it to be uniform...

I just installed it as a new folder..renaming the old web folder as web2....

I want to be able to play nero digital .mp4 files that i have made. Is there any way to get nero digital installed without installing the whole lot of nero?

I am trying to keep the pvr as clean as possible.

Do i have to install Hauppauges MainConcept Encoder for wmv playback via MVP?
I thought all transcoding will be done by ffmpeg - any way to config ffmpeg to handle wmv with ffmpeg.
Playback via vga is ok but aspekt ratio seems to be wrong. Playback with mediaplayer is correct (720)

I got a problem with my setting. I can watch live TV via MVP from my TV (with PVR150). However, if I stop the MVP and restart, it keeps saying "connecting to server" and stays there forever. If I stop/restart the GB-PVR MVP server from the PC, it works again.

Anyone knows why? How to sort it out so that I don't have to stop/restart the MVP server from the PC each time I switch off/on the MVP ?

more n00b based question..If searched through the forums and not found anything that can help so I'm hoping someone can.

When I play back my divx that is in good quality i get a very poor quality mpeg2 stream. The output has lots of square blocks in it now and goes very blocky when anyone moves. Its pretty much unwatchable.

What are the best settings for ffmpeg to get this to work?

I'm using the latest gbpvr software and the ace mega codecs pack which bundles all the divx stuff with it.

advice really weclome.

Do you think it might be possible for a show watched/not watched flag for recordings.

Although it'd probably be just as easy to change your playback position code, to keep the playback entry in there as 0 or something to show that it exists, and then 1 or greater to show watched, then don't delete the record until the recording is deleted.

Possible, stupid idea? thoughts?
