I have some video in real format ending .rm
They appear when i go into videos and i have installed real player but when i select them nothing happens.
Has ayone else got real format playing ok?

I'd really like it if the video player for gbpvr would support both playlists and audio normalization. The volume levels of some of my older video files vary, sometimes dramatically. I'd use gbpvr for all my media needs if it could dynamically adjust the volume of a playing file. As for playlists, well that goes without saying, I think we'd all like that.

I folowed the instructions from the Enhanced Web Admin wiki page, but im having no luck getting this service up and running i currently get a page that displays this information:

Hey all, is there a code that is included in GB-PVR? When I try to register on thier site it asks me for a code. They say many PVR software packages come with it.

Any idea about this? This is the only thing keeping me from hooking up my newly built PVR. I live is the US. Any reccomendations for an EPG?

I looked thru forums for awile but could'nt find a fix.

My set up works great on live tv, but when I record all i get is video no sound. can anyone help who might of gone thru same thing.

I am using a kword 110 card.

Does GB-PVR only run all on one PC, or can it be split up with a light weight quiet 'frontend' PC next to the TV and a 'backend' PC with the large hard drives and the tuner cards?
I'd like to have the backend PC on a big UPS, but not in the lounge room, and have more than one frontend. (multiple Xboxes spring to mind)

I've searched through the forums and the wiki but cant find the answer.

I have just started to use the MyVideos plugin for it's ability to sort shows by season, etc.

I am having a weird problem that I can't seem to remedy. I had a directory for "The Office US" and in it I had 12 files (named "The Office us - s01e01.avi"...) and when I did a find episode it did not find them. However when I do an episode browse with "The Office US" that defaults in the search it finds all of the episodes no problem.

That is not what the wierd part is.

I had 7 episodes missing from my collection that I put into the directory today with the exact same naming convention "The Office us - s02e04.avi" and when I do a scan - find episode it finds the 7 new ones no problem.

I have also tried with Law and Order CI and it found those episode details no problem so I am sure that I am doing the process right.

Any ideas?

Forgive me if this has already been requested, but I think a great feature would be to save the current time index when I stop watching a recorded program, and then be able to resume where I left off when I go to load it again. For instance if I'm watching a recorded program and want to switch to live tv for a minute and then back to the recorded one.

hi, i've just installed gbpvr, but after i did the update of the epg and restardted it, every time i click on Live TV, it keep saying " No channel have been setup, please run the configuration utility and set up the epg source. Use the update button to force the system to import the latest set of channel and programme information....." same thing if i want to see the tv guide.


little question: do i have to check the little box in the epg config tool, i did it and nothing? :confused:

any help on that would be appreciate. i'm kinda lost....going over and over the quckstart guide and the config utility. thx
