When I playback a recorded video in GBPVR, the video is very jumpy and the framerate sometimes falls. When I play the same file in WMP it looks fine. How do I get smooth playback in GBPVR?
I have installed the latest GBPVR on my development machine and downloaded the latest EnhancedWebAdmin, replacing the one that came with GBPVR.
I've got the project to load in ms developer studio, and built it.
But when i run it i get the following error message :-

I'm guessing it's something to do with a database connect string, but am unsure where to put it. I found some code that refers to the <settings> section of web.config. But i'm not 100% sure.
I have tried installing the theater plug-in and have replaced the zip code with my own. When i check the movies it just says "you have no shows to" and thats it. I have tried hitting refresh but nothing happens and no dos box ever pops up when i have it in window mode. I am pretty sure i have everything set up how it should be. Any help guys? thanks
I am considering adding a PVR-150 to my setup as I have a spare Sky Digibox which I could use as an external tuner. I do however have a few questions that I am sure the forum members will be able to help me with.
1. Will the IR Channel Changer in the Retail PVR-150 pack work with UK Sky Digiboxes from within GBPVR. I had heard that there were problems and was not sure if the newer drivers corrected this?
2. Are there any better options for channel changers and could I then get the cheaper MCE version of the PVR-150?
3. My digibox does not have a S-Video output. Is the composite input satisfactory or should I consider getting a Scart RGB to S-Video converter to improve quality. Maplin produce one for about £35. Are there any interlace problems going down this route?
4. What is the best EPG source for UK Sky Digital channels?
5. When configuring the card should I map the analog TV channels on the PVR-150 or am I better off just using it as a dedicated external tuner card as the channels are all available on Sky anyway?

I am having probs with my pvr-150 about 4 of the channels have no sound at all i have tried downloading the beta that is suppost to fix this but that just took away the sound for all of the channels. Does anyone know a fix for this?
I dont know how valif of a request this is, but i would really apprectiate a "run at *choose resolution*" in the config app. Maybe this only applies t me, but I use my PVR as my working comp as well, and the 21" monitor is also my TV. It runs at 1680*1050 res when im working, but in GBPVR, this causes Vsync issues and i get staggering lines at this high of a res, the ideal setting is 1280*768 for me, bu there is no option for this iin windows. Anyway, thats just my problem and probably doesnt apply to anyone else, but that is why I am requesting this feature.
Could it give you the same warning about recording soon for just exiting?
I've kicked myself many times for exiting to make a change to the CP or to ulitmately restart, and not realizing I have a recording soon, or in progress laready.
Just wondered if anyone had found any.

I'm not too desperate yet as I have digital satalite and pvr350 but second tuner would be nice.
