I noticed after installing 95.16 that when I go into to Live TV, exit back to the Main Menu and then go back into Live TV I lose the sound for the MVP. The only way to get it back it so reboot the GBpvr server. I never noticed this before 95.16, however I also downgraded the WinTV-PVR-150 drivers to 2.0.24.23035 recently, so it that could also be the cause. Has anyone else noticed this behavior?
Im wondering is the web radio list automaticlly updated ? One of the better radio stations i was listening to the other day is mysteriously gone (i looked for it) and another station it says it cant find.. im guessing they changed there address. I looked in config but didnt see any enter your radio station info.
Im wondering if theres a easy way to fix this?
i am trying to use VMR7 for video in GBPVR. i am using this antiquated method because i don't get perfectly smooth video with VMR9 on my system. best seen in scrolling credits or news tickers, but also noticable in pans, motion, etc. hardware $ would likely fix/improve it (P4 1.7, ati 9600) but alas...
i find overlay to give me the best picture and lowest cpu usage, but there are no aspect ratio controls to unstretch 4:3 or zoom in on letterboxed 16:9 on my 16:9 tv. no good.
VMR7 has aspect ratio control and seems to give similar video performance as overlay, albeit with more cpu usage, but the video will sometimes disappear. sometimes going into LiveTV the video will appear for a second then disappear. sometimes it will disappear on a channel change. it will always disappear on a fullscreen change or if another window is brought in front of the video and then removed.
is this a limitation of VMR7 or is it just me? if i open up lastgraph.grf in graphedit and play the video in its viewer there are no problems.
Situation: Clean reboot of system and gbpvr, gbpvr sitting in welcome/home/main screen (whatever that's called )
Behavior: Every 10 seconds, gbpvr.exe does something, using 25% of the CPU, for just a second or so...
Question: what's it doing? Can I make it stop doing it somehow?

I just installed My Pictures. I changed the directories that it looks for pictures to another hard drive folder than the default. I put a sample picture in that directory. I then changed the view in My Pictures to Preview and I get this error then I am sent back to the main menu.

It would be nice to have a separate setup for the menu shown on MVP.
An example is XDVD plugin that is useful for MVP but is a duplicate item (with DVD) in the local menu.
