Firewire DV Camcorder vs Nova-T

Any reason that installing GBPVR and drivers for a Nova-t would kill my Panasonic Camcorder (NV-DS25) ?

WinXP no longer detects the camcorder when I plug it in and apps like Adobe Premier only list the Nova-t in the capture sources list.

Any suggestions ?

It wont be installing GB-PVR that would have caused this, but installing the Nova drivers might of.
