In LiveTV-mode when I hit escape I go back to the main menu. In LiveTV-mode when I click Exit, I see the main menu in a flash and then GBPVR quits.
When I am in LiveTV - Timeshiftmode and I click Exit it goes back to the main menu as it should.
I discovered this in 95.14 I hoped it would be gone in 95.16 but it is still the same.
Anyone any ideas.
My PC probably doesn't have the horsepower to transcode an AVI on the fly, but a long time ago I tried and got some errors and gave up. I thought I'd give it a whirl again with the latest gbpvr (actually, the 15 build). Tried to play an AVI on the MPV and a dialog popped up on the PC screen complaining that xvidcore.dll could not be found in the path.
Should this file have been included in the new ffdshow directory? Does gbpvr require that I have something else installed?
So, I went ahead and found a copy of xvidcore.dll on the net and put it into the ffdshow directory. Tried to watch the AVI file again, this time no error, MVP eventually disconnects. I check the gbpvr directory for some kind of transcode error log file or something... there's nothing. What should I be looking for?
Now gbpvr won't open on my computer. I find it in the processes. I shut the computer down to try with a fresh boot and I get the message the gbpvr failed to initialize due to the shut down process. But gbpvr's had plenty of time to initialize. I'm using 95.11. I added the MVP position plugin just prior, but that is the only change. Help...
hi there. thanks in advance 4 your help. my pc just randomly started to lock up roughly 30-60secs. after boot-up. I have narrowed it down to the EPG updater. Basically whenever i update or the system auto-updates the pc locks up good'ole windows 95 style. I gave version 94.13 and that update fixed my previous problem of not receiving and channels after a EPG update. ANY ideas???
When "InterVideo Navigator" is used for DVD Player Navigator in the config using InterVideo Xpack DVD Decoder for Windows Media Player. The system will not play the DVD complaining about "Parental Controls." This just started happening in the last couple of releases. Changing the DVD navigator back to the default "DVD Navigator" fixes the issue. (temporary work around) I don't know if any issues may popup using "DVD Navigator" with "InterVideo DVD Decoders"
Hey been trying out the dvd2mpeg part of VA and I have 2 partitions. One that has the OS and GBPVR and the other is Strickly for shows. The dvd2mpeg tab in the VA config screen lets me set up a directory for temp files and finished movies, but when I access it through the Menu item it only lets me choose a place for these on the first partition(like temp folder or My Documents)? Is there a workaround for this?
i have a little problem with the common gbpvr utilities i use: how can i supply the package with the installation without overwriting something on the target system? is this an installer thing?
