Know a UK/US site that could ship a MVP to Australia ???
Posted by: callagga - 2005-09-15, 09:15 PM - Forum: MVP & NMT - Replies (9)

Hi,

Wondering if anyone knows a UK or USA online site that could ship a MediaMVP unit to Australia?

(I ask as the Australian price seems to be around the equivalent of US$219, ie A$285 - it seems they are much cheaper than this in US/UK - I assume they would be the same unit & be compatible in Australia [240V / PAL] )

Thanks

A couple days ago I marked the new Survivor series to record the season on the weekly timeslot. It shows up in the Season list but it's sure not Pending for tonight. Am I gonna miss it while I'm at my kids Open House?

It's making me nervous...

  PVRPowerTray Crash
Posted by: kaiger - 2005-09-15, 06:06 PM - Forum: Old Stuff (Legacy) - Replies (2)

I've been having a problem with PVR PowerTray crashing lately. It seems to happen more often when I'm messing with config, but it's happened at seemingly random times as well. I've attached screen shots of the error messages that come up and I can post any necessary logs.

Posted by: erikl - 2005-09-15, 04:03 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (20)

Hello all!

I installed the latest version yesterday and discovered a new cool function, Conversion processing under the tab Processing...

But, some things about it.
1. I wan't 24hourclock Smile
2. I managed to set the "timer" to start at 3 o clock, but nothing happened ?
3. Does it need ffdshow or something like that?
4. Finally, is there a way to run it when you wish, i.e. start a script, click a button like "Process now" ?

  PriorityRecording.exe exeception
Posted by: vinman - 2005-09-15, 03:21 PM - Forum: Old Stuff (Legacy) - Replies (6)

Hello,

I have been getting a PriorityRecording.exe exeception when the GBPVR menu screen is running.

The exeception is :Application has generated an exception that could not be handled. Process id = 0x4e0 (1248) Thread id = 0x398 (920)

When I hit ok the process seems to generate a log file and goes away. GBPVR still works fine and records. This exeception started with ver 94.7

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Shutdown plugin question on MVP
Posted by: fhmanas - 2005-09-15, 01:36 PM - Forum: MVP & NMT - No Replies

I have the shutdown plug-in since I want to be able to shutdown the my computer remotely from my MVP supported TV. Am running XP SP2 with fast-switching enabled. Unfortunately, whenever XP logs out of a user, shutdown does not seem to want to work from the MVP. I have to log in again to any user before the shutdown plugin works again until the next log off.

I hope I made this clear. Anyway, hope anybody can help
