sub,

FYI, the issue regarding unchecking the channels in Capture Setup reappearing as checked still exists as well as the error with having the install program re-running after install when clicking on either GB-PVR or Config.

The installer running, even after install, is a microsoft installer/windows fault, not gbpvr.
AFAIK, the only way around it, is to manually assign the shortcuts to the right apps.
You can never have enough tuners!

That sounds like your database is out of date. Try renaming your gbpvr.mdb file to gbpvr-backup.mdb. Then start the config app. The installer will popup and recreate an empty GBPVR.mdb file. Setup your capture source from scratch and try again.

I'd expect to see the Installer run once more after installing v0.94.8. It does this to finish the installation of a font.

I noticed the same thing, although I could have sworn it ran more than once. Anyway it stopped, but an odd thing happened with the Tuners in the Tray vs. what I setup.

I installed 4 Sources (Two Cards, Tuner+S-Video for each) but it set up SIX Tuners. (See jpg's). It also didn't name them anything, it normally names them what is in the config setup.

I might just try a clean install and check it again as installed over the top of the old one.

Thats probably just an indication that the tray app cant talk to the recording service for some reason. The default screen has slots for six capture sources to be shown. It only trims it back to the correct number once its talked to the recording service. It'll also then show the correct capture source names, wheras your screenshot just show all the default names.

OK, I'll see if they end up talking to each other, otherwise I will just reinstall.
On the BIG PLUS Side, the error I discussed in this thread ...

... appears to have GONE, due to your inclusion of the Intervideo Mux support for the Walker. Yippee, I can USE my TVWalker now. Thanks once again. Also updated the http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Manual/TVWalker

Hi Sub,

I have the same problem when trying to save changes in the "Edit Recording Source" window. I tried manually tuning the ATSC card but the channel assignments and cleared checkmarks don't get saved. I've emailed you the mdb and config.log file.

Thanks

sub,

I just returned home and have found that still recordings do not show in either Recording and/or XRecord after they have been completed which results in me not being able to play the files through GBPVR.
