I have OTA, recently (August 1), a bunch of channels changed, CW and WIVB (same parent company), along with a few others.
4.1 went from WIVB-DT to WIVB-HD (so nothing finds the WIVB-DT channel so it shows up in the Recurring as 0 - WIVB-DT).
4.2 went to Court TV (from LAFF), again, same thing there.
23.1 went from WNLO-DT to WNLO-HD (same as 4.1)
23.2 same deal there.
29.1 went from WUTV-HD to FOX, there are other channels.
The Recurring can be deleted! Updating does nothing, cannot alter channel. Perhaps determine "bad" programs in recurring and offer us the choice to change the channel? I really don't want to delete 20+ recurrings just to wait for them to come around in a few months to re-add them again, that is unhelpful.
Is there at least a way to manually edit an XML file to put the proper call signs for the channels back in so they'll re-sync, I do see Recurring-Backup.xml, but am unsure how to actually properly affect it while it is running, presume stop the service and edit that, then restart it or is there a registry location to fix it there with?
Could we possibly just get the ability to change channels in an existing Recurring, perhaps when we change the channel, it deletes the existing entry and just "adds" it as a new one?
installed v5 im haveing a couple of issues on windows machine.
i cant find config.exl folder ? i want to change my port number. as i have v4 on the same machine

Getting this trying to use Modern Web Server. Edge browser spews out some XML and does nothing. IE and Firefox usually show the guide and OCCASIONALLY start to play, but most times I just get the Streaming Failed message. Attached is the file that was in C:\Users\Public\NPVR\web\temp last time I tried. This was using Firefox locally (eg, 127.0.0.1:8866). NextPVR V4.2.4, Windows 10 V1903. Look like ffmpeg was throwing some errors, but meaningless to me.
Hi I am having problems with using the NEWA web page on LG tv clients using web os watching via the LG internet app. I originally thought it was my wifi dropping on one of TVs, but it also happens to the tv using ethanet cable as well. I get half way through a recorded show and the video just goes black then if I refresh the page fast forwarded/skip to were the video went blank it seems to work for a while but happen more frequently, really annoying! would anybody be able to help me ?
I have tried 3 times now. I downloaded the .zip (by clicking the link in the windows post), unzipped to c:\NPVR5, exit NPVR 4
there is no config.xml to change the port
when I click on NextPVRServer.exe and permit it I get a "This app can't run on your pc" to find a version for your pc,check with the software publisher.
Windows 10 pro 1809 everything was updated yesterday. NPVR 4 runs.
Just wondering if there is a way of using the old command line options (-updateepgonly) with V5? When ever I try with the windows client, it runs the client and doesn't update the EPG.
Can we have an hourly schedule to grab the EPG data?
I'm using xmltv and Foxtel data changes all the time.
Hi - just installed v5 for the first time on a fresh Windows 10 PC (never had NextPVR on it). Got it setup with my IPTV provider and works fine from the same pc, but can't connect to it from any other device on my local network. Using Kodi add-ons plus a Shield TV third-party app. Not seeing any specific error messages other than unable to connect. Have also tried with firewall disabled on the Win10 pc, but no difference. Any suggestions?

I have a Hauppauge WinTV HVR 2250 card on my gaming computer (OS win 7 pro / 16gb ram/ gpu 770 card) useing it for 6 analog channels but i want to share it online to friends and family who can not get the stream online my question is i need to know how to setup the sever side and the client side with the server side where it uses a user name and a password to access all 6 channels thanks for the help in advace...
I use DVBGuide to load the EPG data and it has worked flawlessly for several years, but since the 5th it has been failing with "NIT not found" and not writing out the XML file.
I use the command "DVBGuide -as -c11427830 -ph -mQPSK -s27500000 -y3002 -z3003 -g c:\ChannelLogos -o freesat_epg.xml"
Has something changed in Freesat that I need to amend the above ??
