white dots / bar at the top of recording

Hello, I tried recording with GB-PVR and seem to have white dots and a line at the top. I have the Plextor PVR-TV402U. I know the line is closed captioning codes and I am wondering how I can crop it out. I was able to eliminate this from the live TV mode using FFDshow and the crop feature, but FFDshow doesn't work when recording TV. I love the software and it would be even better if I could get this fixed. Any help is greatly appreciated!

discussed plenty...search for white dots here, and save the bumps for the wife...it is saturday night
