Good Software MPEG2 Decoder?

Anyone know of any good software MPEG2 decoders out there to use with GBPVR? I would like to try a couple different ones to see if I can control the video a little better. My MVP seems to stretch the video slightly so that the sides of the recordings are cut off (about an inch on each side - like its being stretched) and I would like to see if its from my current decoder (XP default decoder)

Sorry, but changing the video decoder will have no effect on the MVP picture.

The problem occurs when I play back the recordings on the MVP - the video looks like it is stretched too wide. The left and right 1" or so of the video is cut off, and it appears that the video is slightly stretched. I have adjusted the GBPVR menu screen positions on the MVP, but the video playback has always been this way since I set it up. I have NTSC... thanks...
