Great plugin. Since my 2 year old broke a DVD in half I have been waiting for this!

However, I think the batch file truncates filenames if the ISO filename has spaces in the path (all mine are in my docs currently) so daemon and VLC can't find the files. I could move the files, but is there another fix?

Thanks for saving my DVDs!

in playmvpdvdiso.bat

find this line
C:\Progra~1\D-Tools\daemon.exe -mount 0,%2

change it to
C:\Progra~1\D-Tools\daemon.exe -mount 0,"%2"

Thanks for the quick reply Jorm.

Following your tip, I've had a nose around. Ahh it all floods back.

I've found the problem (all of my own doing...). I had changed the temp dvd path to be in my docs too so that was messing up the argument positions (the command shell parsing each space in the temp path as a new argument).

Once I reverted to c:\dvd.mpg for the temp file things got a lot better!

I seem to be experiencing some "odd behaviour", but I can't repeat it. I suspect its when I don't kill one VLC before starting the next one. I'll post again when I work out what's going on.

Thanks again Jorm.

I've managed to track down the "odd behaviour" in XDVD it seems to be related to the title auto detection. Probably user error, but when I select an ISO file it doesn't always scan to find the main feature in the file. Often I was getting the copyright message at the start of a disc which is all transcoded before the 150meg delay and therefore nothing is displayed.

How do I get the auto detect to fire everytime I select an ISO file? (when it works it's great).
