I think it began when I upgraded to the Xrecord plugin that displays 8 channels in Xguide and I have since upgraded to the newest xrecord.

I'm sure that channel 50 is selected in the config app / plugins / Xguide configuration.
I have removed and added all channels from the default guide I use (all channels included - no filter) in the config app.

I get all the channels except 50 (Arts) in comcast, it just shows a blank row where the background image is displayed instead of show information.
The regular TV guide displays channel 50 so I know I'm getting the information from zap2it.

I've just been living with it for a while but was wondering if anybody else noticed this or know a resolution?

thx

This post should actually just be called Xguide not displaying channel 50 on comncast, rather than "all channels"

50 is the only channel I'm having this issues with.
What I have discovered is that in the Xguide plugin setup (in the gbpvr config app) there are 2 channel 50s in the list.

50 AETV
and
50 ARTS

I've been including both of them as I include all channels in the default guide.

If I just add 50 AETV (and exclude 50 ARTS) to the list, nothing shows up in Xguide, if I just add 50 ARTS to the list, 50 shows up and its blank in Xguide.

If I look at the comcast listings on a website its shows 50 A&E

I am thinking I have to find out where to modify the Xguide channel listings in and modify the 50 channel selection to read 50 A&E.
Any suggestions are welcome

EDIT: I also just noticed that after switching to the "Color Collection" skins, which are very nice skins if you have not seen them, channel 50 does not show up at all in that standard TV Guide.
The only place I see channel 50 and the shows are listed is in the Blue Skin TV Guide.

I think maybe 50 switched their logo or call letters or something and that is the reason.

This has been resolved, there were 2 channel 50s in the config app channels area and one had been assigned channel number 100. I made them both point to ch 50.

I'm still not sure how to get the 2nd ch 50 out of there but its all working ok now, I just have a 50 ARTs thats blank in the guide and a 50 AETV beneath it that contains the show listings.

I'm having a similar problem. I just discovered today that A&E (34) doesn't show up. After a search through the forums here and on Zap2It, I see others are having a problem too. In my GBPVR config I discover 34-ARTS (with a source channel of 34) shows up in the lineup but at the end of the lineup is another 34 - AETV, this one with a source channel of 79. On my Zap2It profile, My Time Warner provider only has 78 channels. I tried what Spyder40 did: I empty my EPG, delete the source, re-added in the source again, updated the EPG. All looks good so far, because - in the GBPVR config - the (source channel 79) AETV is gone and AETV shows up on 34...the way it's supposed to be. HOWEVER, 34 stlll doesn't show up when I open GBPVR.

I've tried unchecking the channel in the config, re-checking, re-dating, etc.

Still no 34. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I've finally managed to fix it. I saw that the channels Tab under config had both 34 channels. It was as if would update. So I upgraded to the newest version of GBPVR. Also, I deleted my Time Warner recording source and a VCR recording source that I had originally created and reinstalled the Time Warner.

Yeah still have 2 channel 50s in the config / channels tab. It the only way to get rig of the extra channel upgrading to the newest gbpvr? or does deleteing and adding the source do that?

Sorry for the delayed reply. I haven't been back on b/c I'm trying to set up my MVP.

I tried deleting the source and re-adding it. But that didn't work for me. I had been planning to upgrade anyway. So I went ahead. However, upgrading still brought in the previous settings/sources/etc. So I'm not sure upgrading was the trick. BUt after upgrading, I repeated the deletion/re-add process and it worked. Wish I could be more certain for you.
