record fail

Hi sorry if this has been asked I took a look and did not see much about it.
Question is will a show that is set to season record fail if the EPG did not update?

I have NCIS set to record season and have not had a problme for about a month. Yesterday it did not record and the only thing I could notice is that the EPG did not update. Would this have been the problem?

Can you zip and attach your GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log?

Sure I will do that latter today. I just was not sure if the recoding process depended on info from the EPG or not. But I will send it to you.

Hi Sorry it took so long to get back to you.

I have 4 of them. I took a look at them and found there was not one for the day I had the problem. After that I was loging on to the web interface and found that the recording service had crashed so I guess that was the problem. If I sitll have a problem with the next program I will let you know.
