Service GB_PVR Recording Service not found

I seemed to have stalled on the install process. After running setup and getting the epg stuff in, when I exit the configuration settings I get a popup saying "restarting GB-PVR Recording Service - Please wait"

Then another dialogue box pops up telling me an unhandled exception took place - Service GB-PVR recording Service was not found on computer '.'.

I then get an option to either contine (hangs there not doing anything) or Quit (and the install then doesn't seem to have taken)

Any ideas where I'm going wrong? I'm running XP Pro with administrator rights.

Please ignore - found the search button at the top of the screen now and found the answer (to this one...)

I am glad you found the answer to this one because I have not found the answer . I still cannot get the service to install.

Use the forum search feature (top right) to search for "installutil". This should provide instructions for manually installing the service.
