Is there currently a way to manually set recording start times, end times and channels?

Yes, you can click the 'manual rec' button in the Recordings screen.

Thanks for your reply. I still can see no way of setting the start and end times. Ideally I would like to be able to set several start times, end times, and channels, and was wondering if this were possible.

If you click the 'manual rec' button in the Recordings. This will popup the manual recording popup.

You can press the up and down keys to move between the fields (channel, start time, end time etc). When the channe field is highlighted, you can press the left or right keys to change channels. When the start time field is highlighted, you can type in a time (ie, for 10:35 type 1-0-3-5).

When you've set everything correctly, click the record button.
