Just wondering if this could be the cause of my frequent lockups, should the hauppage software be removed? Is the lastest driver off their web site the good one to use for the PVR-350?

No you dont need to remove the Hayppauge software.

If you're using the PVR350 tv out, you may be seeing the driver bug that affects many users. See http://gbpvr.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=2;t=641 for more details.

I see, unfortunately I do have a nVidia chipset board. What AMD compatible motherboards have you found work well?

I thought the nVidia chipsets where actually OK, so you may not be seeing this but something else.

I havn't seen a detailed description of symptoms, so that would probably be a good place to start. What are you doing? What happens when you do it? In addition to this description, its worth zipping and email you log files at support@devnz.com.

Ok when the menu comes up on screen it's fine, I hit live TV and live TV comes up, if I change the channel a couple of times or hit pause and play a couple of times the mahcine locks up or the display goes into this loop that just keeps flashing the main menu on screen. I will try to locate the even in the log and post it.
