Sub,

Version 18 is running nicely and without large problems. There are a few things that I like to mention:
1/ I start gbpvr from myhtpc as fullscreen; in the config app I deselected windowed mode. However an empty band remains above the gbpvr window, about the size of the top window edge/taskbar. If i press fullscreen twice on the remote this band disappears. Also, the window is stuck behind the taskbar a bit.
Ideally, gbpvr would cover the taskbar and expand over the entire screen (800x600, that is).
2/ Every now and then when playing a recorded movie, the system goes to standby. The interesting thing is that until the computer resumes, the picture on the tv-out stays sharply frozen. When the pc resumes, the movie runs as nothing had happened...
3/ What does SBE mean? And how does it help me?

Greetz,

1/ I havnt seen this myself. What operating system are you running? XP or Win2K?

2/ I assume you're talking about the TV Out on the PVR 350? This is a known issue with the PVR350 drivers. That said, I did see some instructions for how to restart the PVR350 driver with a batch file when the machine comes back up. http://forums.freytechnologies.com/forums....id=5962 The discussion is about correcting the issue for SageTV, but it applies equally to GB-PVR.

3/ SBE is the Stream Buffer Engine which is part of Win XP SP1, and is used by Microsoft Media Center Edition to allow FF/RW or Live TV. This is only relevent to VMR/Overlay playback, not MVP/XCard or PVR350.

Do you have your taskbar set to auto hide ??

I had this issue when I had autohide enabled on an earlier version of GBPVR
